Can anyone describe this guy's game in a nutshell? I remember he played very well against the Knicks earlier on in the season and he defended Carmelo very well. Just saw that he hasn't played the last 3 games, probably cause of Deng/Korver/Brewer being available. Can he become part of a rotation in the future?

A future Deng with a better looking jumper and less-ugly handles.

Jimmy has really impressed me. If he really works on his shot and develops a consistent outside shot while improving his ball-handling some he's going to be a very good player. Could end up being another great steal for us.

Taj was a great late pick. Asik. Mirotic maybe...

Front office has done well in the draft for a while now.

With Deng's wrist messed up you never know when his number will be called.

Jimmy Butler will be splitting time at SG and SF this season. I still think its a slight chance that he will become the starting 2guard for the Bulls down the line. I think he could be a Aaron Afflalo for the Bulls. He can shoot the ball and play lock down defense. Plus, it seem like no matter who the Bulls sign they can't get the job done and past guards that have been drafted have either been undersize or couldn't shoot. If Jimmy can build off what he did in the summer league the 2guard problem might be solved.

He put up 20.8ppg, 6.5rbs, and 2.0apg in the Summer League.

35.5MPG, 50%3PT, 43.1%FG, and 87.9FT.

Rip is fragile at times and misses a lot of games at times. If Rip misses some games and Thibs start JB at SG and he can put up these number or close to them, its gone be some problems.

Not lethal but very decent all-around.

Deng gets paid a lot of money. To pay that to him and to Noah and to Boozer and to Rose...I think they need more.

I would trade Deng. And not just because Butler could probably be the starter soon. But Rose is hurt. The team can still make the playoffs, but the guy is injured. If the concern is they don't even make the playoffs, then they obviously aren't thinking enough of their chances anyway.

I'd make a move. Maybe Deng to Utah for Burks. I don't know if Utah would do that, but they might. And it's worth a shot. Or a package of Boozer and Deng for...someone.

How about Deng for Al Jefferson?

I wouldn't make either of those trades if I were the Bulls.

Deng is the glue of this team, and you can't trade your glue guy until you have another glue guy, regardless of skill and pay. If he was the glue guy, and the team sucked, that's different.

I don't know if Jimmy will ever turn into a starter in this league, but I know he will definitely be a very good bench player.

His defense is already very good. If he can consistently improve on his ball handling and jump shot than he can be a very good player.

I heard jimmy is the first one to practice and last to leave the gym. He showed improvement in the summer league this guy has athleticism defense and offense. He is tall enough to be an sf and has handles to be a sg. This means he is effective guardin sg sf and pg and can pose problems in the post on double teams. He is the bulls highlight real sg that we are and have been looking for. His weakness is he is not wade strength or iq offensively

A sign that Jimmy Butler will become the starting SG soon.
