Decent show, wonder if they'll bring this up) painted by Da Vinci. The Borgias were some corrupt f*ckers if you study up on them, Machiavelli based some of 'The Prince' on the family, especially Cesare.

Yeah, Cesare and Da Vinci were actually really good friends and Cesare hired him as his personal military architect and engineer. In turn, Da Vinci turned Cesare's likeness into a God worshiped by millions. Nice tradeoff I think.

jesus' image is not any one image. it's been widely conceived, probably starting as early as the 4th century. no one image could replace that AFAIK, not even one of the very first mafioso's (borgia).

having said that, it's possible that many of the images out there could indeed have been patterned after cesare's. if so, that's pretty interesting.

aside from that, nobody knows for sure what jesus specifically looked like. jacob-whatever has obviously been trying to change that recently, but the body of scientist-scholars have not been persuaded AFAIK.

Yeshua Ben-Yosef is his actual name..... and as far as i know there is no official picture of him to show you details of his facial structure and nobody knows how he looked like.... but he was middle-eastern.. so its very simple... a typical middle-eastern has dark hair - brown eyes.. natural light brown to maybe darker skin and middle-eastern type facial structures... shall not even be confused with a white guy from South Europe (natural pale/white skin, dark hair / brown/green/blue eyes)...

he for sure didnt had blondish/reddish hair / blue eyes and ultra pale skin and a nice ripped body with a six-pack like many damn churches try to portray... nor was he African... he most likely looked something like that picture LEBRON23 showed...

that's a pretty interesting face. not a modern semitic face (either arab or jew) from the pool of faces i've seen in my lifetime. the hazel eyes and vaguely 'caveman' features come off as either ancient or maybe specific to a certain region.

if i saw that face today i'd definitely guess somewhere in western / southern europe rather than the israeli or arabic region.
