Dirk, Jet, and VC. The Mavs are going nowhere with just Jet and Dirk scoring the load. Over his last 4 VC is averaging 19 PPG. My hope and assumption is that this outburst continues into the playoffs aswell. If the Mavs wish to repeat they will need VC to be stellar as well.

Mavs are most certainly NOT the same team, while OKC is. OKC got better, mavs got worse. It may be a good series that goes to 5 6 7 games, but in the end the thunder i think will take them out. THey want it more, they have fresher younger legs. THey arent the green, never-been-there-before players anymore. Think about it, that team who first played in the playoffs in 2009 vs the lakers and lost...they are all now in their third playoffs, and have played at a high level very consistently for the entire season. Throw last year out the window, and hell you can throw half this season out the window at this point. But this is not the same mavs, theyre a shell of their former selves. The Thunder are 100% intact save for the backup pg. Plus Harden and Ibaka have gotten a lot better and are really coming into their own. They dont have the legs to keep up with Thunder.

This is not the same Mavs team as next year, they won't go as far. Yes, Barea and Chandler were the difference makers. Right now, I would still pick Thunder in 6. But it's not completely absurd to think the Mavs can win. I mean they are a veteran team, and OKC are still young and inexperienced, and tend to choke more in big games.

Thunder are as capable as anybody, especially when they turn it on. I judge no playoff team based on this past season. It's the second season now.

I said that too. Vince needs to realize this may be his last run and considering that, he needs to be stellar. I'm worried about the lineup though. Vince has been playing the entire fourth quarter the last week or so pushing Marion to the bench. I love VC in the lineup, especially the fourth quarter but the Mavs need Marion out there defending the opposing teams best player. Jkidd may need to sit out fourth quarters it seems like.:confusedshrug:
