My personal choice would be the Miami Heat. Nothing but a bunch of classy and down to earth gentlemen who would never brag or act in an arrogant fashion

In my mind, it has to be a contender. Because being shitty and classy is nothing, not hard to be classier than other teams when you're not in the intense games they are/getting the best from every opponent.

So I'd give the nod to Oklahoma City or San Antonio. Chicago after them.

OKC is pretty likeable.
Phoenix is pretty likeable as well... no? :confusedshrug:

Memphis is a very LIKEABLE team in the sense that they have everything you want (or atleast me) from a solid basketball team. It starts off with effort though, night in night out you know the players are going to work there butt off~!

Correct. I'd pick Dallas Mavericks, a very classy team... then Chicago and SAS.

Edit: Well, take Delonte out and we are OK...

miami hasn't been a bunch of douchbags this season, have they? i can't remember any incidents, in any case.

anyway, spurs. how could it be any other org? pretty much the gold-embossed definition of class in the NBA dictionary. mavs would be close if it wasn't for cuban. thunder would be close if it wasn't for westbrook, or maybe that's penalising them too much for a single knucklehead.

philly has very classy people as GM, coach and best player (iggy-D). not sure about the rest of the squad, but i get the impression they're pretty humble and solid citizens.

Odom is not even a Mav anymore, Cuban can be annoying but at least he's not a player and Terry is OK with me...

I forgot your Grizzlies, I don't know about class, but they are by far my next more likeble team after the C's...

OKC Thunder especially if you factor in the players. I consider them the Green Bay Packers of the NBA.

There are class act players but no team is full on class. Spurs overall are classy but have had a few wild cards and dirty play in the past. Steve Nash is pure class, Ray Allen is classy, Dirk and Kidd are good guys, Tim Duncan and players like that.

Thunder except for Perkins, are a really classy team. I don't find them annoying but I could see how other people could see them the other way just because of Westbrook.

Spurs and Grizzlies are also close.

I would have to say Spurs fall into that category. If I were to go younger, I would say OKC.

Spurs are a class act from top to bottom. OKC seems to be getting that way but they need to do it consistently like SA has for the past two decades. Also i'm not sure if it's just the fanbase or the entire organization but the Raptors have always been a class act to me as well... now if they could only make sound basketball decisions and not act like their organization is a catch and release stream for NBA talent :facepalm

I love the Spurs.

-Tim Duncan has the personality of a plank of wood.
-Manu Ginobili is a soft euro, brought flopping into the NBA.
-Tony Parker assaulted and cheated on his wife.
-Their games allow me to catch up on sleep.

I'd agree with the majority saying Spurs. Just no real reason to hate the franchise. If there was a such thing as doing things the "right way" the Spurs are that way. Built through draft with elite scouts. Top 3 coach in NBA history. They are impressive as hell and I envy Spurs fans big time for what they have gotten to experience over the last 20 years or so.

OKC are definitely likeable (one of my favorite teams) but I'm not sure they are one of the 'classiest'.

Like it's been said, the classiest team has to be the Spurs. But in saying them I wouldn't consider them a likeable team in many peoples eyes because they aren't exactly throwing down huge jams and making highlight reels every day. So I think Classy and Likeable should be separated in the title.

OKC.

They have the best scorer in the league. One of the best scoring guards in the league. One of, if not the best, bench player in the league. The best shot blocker in the league.

All of this and I have never seen any of them beat their chest or stare down other players. They all just play basketball and play hard. No show boating and absolutely no nonsense.

They are exactly what teams should strive to be like.

Also, the Spurs just seem to be like a close knit family all the way down. Everyone looks out for one another and there's never any drama.

The Knicks. JR Smith shared a picture of his other with the fans. How much classier can you be than that? "Share my experiences Knick fans".

It's beyond touching.
