View Full Version : THE EPIC TANK GAME: New York at Charlotte, 8:00 PM EST on TNT

bagelred

In order for the Knicks to not play the Heat, they are going to have to tank the most Epic of tanks.........tanking against the Charlotte Bobcats who've tanked 22 games in a tank.

Mike Woodson has proved he can win....can he prove he can lose? This will be his greatest challenge yet. I'm thinking starting lineup of Mike Bibby, Jerome Jordan, Spike Lee, Tina Cervasio, and Eddy Curry flown in from Miami. Not sure that'll be enough.

The Charlotte Bobcats present the ultimate test. Will Mike Woodson pass?

The Knicks have been tanking since 1999. It's time to win now.:lol
As a basketball fan wanting your team to win, ou shouldn't hope you face the easier team. As a Mavs fan, I welcome any team, no matter who it is. Bring it on OKC!

ILLsmak

I was just thinking about this. The league needs to implement some anti-tanking measure. It's possible that the reason none of the playoff teams are under .500 in the east is because of THE BOBCATS.

In that vein, it skews everything. Their losses are someone else's wins. That's bogus. If a team loses all of their games, that's giving twice as many wins to once conference as the other, in theory.

Why would the Knicks try and tank? I think they actually want to play Miami, may aswell start the playoffs with a small winning streak, spirits high etc...

Ill be rooting for them hard against the Heat:rockon:
Should be a good series, as others have said, Melo v Bron, Stat v Bosh.. Cant wait:cheers:

I've talked to some of my friends who are Knicks fans and they are absolutely gutted that the Knicks don't do more to avoid Miami. They feel that they have a better shot at Chicago which to be honest is what I feel to.

Also, I'm a bit selfish since I will be in New York for the 2nd round and I would love to have seen New York still in the playoffs. :D

No, he is slow as hell with his handles, dude gets bumped everytime he tries to get past somebody off the dribble. And JR is my nygga, but he is not a good iso player at all, thats why he has to fade away so much, he cant create space off the dribble like that cause hs moves are extra slow. Boris Diaw played like prime Shaq. True Story.

Don't remind me. I watched the game and it was a painful experience.

I remember 500 lbs Diaw spinning around Amare and finishing at the rim like it was yesterday :oldlol:

Lol I kinda overrated him on that post. But, I don't think he's that bad of an ISO player. Dude can create his own shot with time running out.
Fasho, not bad at all. He has a quick release so that always helps when he cant get past somebody, he just looks so bad to me when trying to get to the rack off the dribble, he always ends up doing a behind the back dribble that takes him nowhere lmao.

Well congratulations to the NY fukking Knicks, the same team that got smoked by the Bobcats in the Garden early in the season (one of the few times the cats were at full strength, btw).

Have fun losing in the 1st round of the playoffs.

I agree. His behind the back dribble is pretty predictable.

Bobcats are historically bad. I can't believe we managed to lose a game against them,AT HOME.
