LeBron had nothing to do with it. He could be guarded by a high school kid and he would still be terrible. He has no offensive game besides random pull up jumper, his defense is a joke, can't pass or rebound. What is he good for?:lol

There was definitely some home cooking, but if Lebron is hitting bottom of the net and playing inspired D....with Mike Miller and Haslem playing great....Thats gonna spell a blowout at home.

I wouldn't read into this game at all, If New York gets blown out 15 plus next game, theres room for concern.

it's that heat defense ... it has just been stifling ... melo has had a hard time even getting the ball

this is all on woodson to make the right adjustments for the next game.

this series sucks... i knew this would happen. the knicks have a BAD offense. no system. no discipline. makes me almost miss d'antoni (almost ... he had his issues too). knicks need to make MAJOR moves this summer. moving stoudemire is move number 1. they need consistency and chemistry out of their best players, and it just hasn't been there with melo and stoudemire.

Yep.

But piling it on a team that is already the underdogs is a guarantee they have no chance.

Knicks had a fighting chance, if they had a fairly called game. Going into the half, with the Knicks right there (even with Melo ice-cold), the refs made sure to let them know they weren't going to get one.

They actually do. The problem is coaching. Woodson's offense is iso Melo, iso JR, and everyone else is an afterthought.

Amar'e dropped 37 on a younger Duncan in a playoff series, and now he never gets the ball. Amar'e on Haslem is a mismatch; Melo on Lebron isn't - but guess which player Woodson is force-feeding.

Everytime Stoudemire touched the ball, he either scored, or got fouled, or someone else was free and in position for the rebound. He needs to be option number one with Chandler in punishing the Heat down low.

Woodson won't do it though, because it doesn't fit his high-school, give-the-ball-to-the-AAU-guy, perimeter-iso offense. :facepalm

OR, he could just be helping build the narrative that he's already pre-planned: Lebron's epic run to his first title.

People who didn't watch this game will consider it another Lebron MVP performance. To me? It's classic Lebron - front-running, at his best when his team is ahead and with momentum. Nothing he does matters until it's crunch time with something real on the line.

Knicks would've lost with or without questionable officiating and Bron's flopping. But I can't believe anyone, Bron fans included, would be ok with the way he flops. It's just pathetic beyond comprehension. John Lucas gets screened hard and steps to Lebron, whether it was justified or not. Lebron gets screened hard and flops and falls to the ground. :facepalm

Who wants me to bump game thread from other day? Stop acting like a bunch of ******* and acting like I'm randomly trolling. You guys had a bunch of shit to say the other day. Think I feel sorry for you when you act like that? I don't try to bully anybody. Everything I say is retaliation. If Clippers get their asses handed to them like Knicks just did there will be multiple threads as well.

why are you are so happy? :confusedshrug:

Heat stacked and huge favorites.

Knicks hot and have a fighting chance to beat them.

Melo ice-cold in first half, but Knicks right there still.

Refs pile it on the Knicks in 2nd quarter. LeBron flops blatantly and gets rewarded for it. Knicks in foul trouble, and taken out of their game knowing they can't play aggressive.

LeBron, safely in frontrunner status and protected by the refs, goes crazy.

In short, the most stacked team in the league (the Heat) get one of the worst reffed quarters in recent memory called in their favor, and put away the underdogs who up until then had been right on their heels.

20 to 1 FTA in the 2nd.

Great win for the refs.

Reffing may not be fair but the 27 turnovers turned into a gazillion points was the boggest factor and has nothing to do with refs.
Fully agree, even with the bad refereeing, the game was close until the turnover laid 2nd quarter.

Still can't believe Knicks blew all that money on Amare of all people. And Melo is an anti-money ball player, although he has the physical talents to be much better than he is. One one of those guys you wonder what he could be if he put in more effort.

Knicks fans only guys I've ever seen complain about their best player 'clogging the paint' and making it so their perimeter players can't drive. Somehow every other team ever hasn't had a problem with that.

trade melo for nash. it seems his post up game cant mesh with this team. His style sucks. Perimeter players should be playing in the perimeter. If you want to be the best, then learn the hard way and not the lazy way. Facing up is harder than posting up and this guy is so lazy to learn to face up. If only we could trade him for rondo and allen. You dont need 30 ppg scorers to win in this league anyway. I believe those suns teams are capable of winning if only they have chandler instead of lopez.

Worst game i have ever seen in my life. Knicks were horrible handling the ball, couldn't make shots, and don't get me started on the whistle fest. i turned the channel after the second half. the refs literally handed the heats that game.

Those saying that it would still be a blow out if the FT advantage was taken out doesn't know what they are talking about. Basketball is a very mental game, if your opponent getting pure bullshit calls(Especially when you are trying to find your shot), it will throw you off your game.

this is EXACTLY what i was gonna say.
2nd worst officiated game of BASKETBALL, after the kings-lakers on 2002.

6 of the offensive fouls were Miami players stepping up in front of the cylinder and taking charges while not moving, great defense.

Chandler's foul on LeBron was clearly offensive, same with Melo pushoff. There was no dispute there. Knicks fans and Heat haters just bitter.
