I feel bad for them cause the Heat getting much help by f*cking cheating refs. They know that the media, not true basketball fans, biased fans, would love to see the Heat in the finals cause of the good rating and bring $$$....they don't give a f*ck about basketball anymore mfer.

Since LeBron, Wade, Bosh teamed-up ruined the NBA and influence players want to leave to join up superstar now look at the shitty eastern conf right now mfer?. Imagine if LeBron stayed with the Cavs vs Heat Wade it would be much better series.

I lol'd at everybody said this year eastern conf>>>>>western conf but turned out they're wrong.

Dallas vs Thunder the best game so far

worst game Knicks vs Heat +Refs

We still got more good games from Western Conf Spurs vs Jazz, LAC vs Grizzlies, Lakers vs Nuggets

This year playoff is worst.

F*CK THE HEAT, CHEATING ASS MFER AND F*CK THE NBA REFS.

Yup, they got robbed. Miami ripped their hearts out with a 40 point whooping.

Melo couldn't even get the ball with the basketball version of Deion Sanders denying the ball. And when he did get the ball, he couldn't do sh*t. He shot 3-15 and made some stupid passes.

Meanwhile, Lebron was blowing by everyone on offense and getting everyone involved. Wade looked like he is completely healthy. I didn't see too much from Bosh, but whatever, he'll come around.

The Heat are CLEARLY the better team. Worlds better than the Knicks. This is why it's even more infuriating what happened with the refs in the second quarter. The Heat would have won regardless, but that reffing was inexcusable.

I'll give Lebron a little credit for shutting Melo down but in the 1st Quarter both teams played hunger game back and forth like playoff suppose to be, it was a close til the 2nd Quarter that's when refs took over the game and giving to the Heat, they was fearing Heat might lose the first home game. I don't care if the Knicks lost to Heat but we all want to see good ass game, an honest game, a close game, not a blowout by cheating shit mfer, refs, flopping around the shit.

Heat got away with playing hard defense, while the Knicks couldn't do the same or they'd get fouled. That's what really pissed me off. How the fvck can a team with their stars in foul trouble play any kind of D after that second quarter?

It makes no sense for it to be fixed because the Heat were going to win anyway. On the other hand, how the fvck could the refs be that fvcking lopsided and atrocious without some kind of influence? It was just odd and ruined the flow of the game.

Look, saying that it was fixed does sound like sour grapes, and that's why I keep reiterating that I could give a rat's ass about who wins the series. I just want great basketball, period. Post up a video of the supposed bad calls.

There was the Chandler flagrant which wasn't really a flagrant.

The Lebron flop when he fell out of bounds.

All the charges were legit. The Knicks were playing out of control and drawing charges is just what smart players like Battier are good at.

The fouls I saw on Lebron were all legit. Some were even intentional.

You fools are complaining over 2-3 stupid calls and the fact that there was such a large free throw disparity. It's ridiculous really. The 2-3 calls were indeed stupid. The FT disparity comes from the fact that Lebron and Wade are the two best drivers in the entire league.

What a stupid biased cliche response. Did you watch the game? It was an INSANE ammount of calls and technicals, that also gets the team MINDSET out of the game, it completely accounts for 30 pts or more. It was ROBBERY plain and simple. Even the LAL vs SAC 2002 series didnt have a game so obnoxiously reffed.

To be fair, there are 2 more calls in Miami's favor.

ONE of the charges was questionable. Not saying it was a blatantly wrong call, but it could have gone either way.

The other is the technical on Melo for passing the ball to the ref. That was a completely absurd call. There's no possible justification for that call.

im always gonna be skeptical about conspiracies and that kind of thing, so maybe if it were to happen, i would be blind to it, but this is how i saw it

it was a pretty even game, and the knick offense ground to a halt.

wade started roaming way off of shumpert, and there was a lot less space on the floor. Bron/Battier started fronting melo, and melo showed disturbingly little fight in sealing the defender, and inexplicably (as JVG pointed out), nobody ever popped to the hi post to make the easy hi-lo pass.

so this took melo out of the game, and nobody else on the knicks can really create

and for the heat, NY had three really dumb fouls that stood out, melo hitting LBJ on the jumper that he hit (the one Breen initially called a 3) another one in the lane, and JR did the same at the end of one of the quarters, i think the first. as well, the heat drew 4 very legit charges. then the flops, lebron had that flop on the chandler back scree, so they an, and another flop, falling out of bounds, and bumping off of jr smith. so thats a lot of fouls, almost all in the second quarter iirc.

overall, at the time i didnt consider that the heat were getting bad calls, and i thought that they just had far better energy, and the knicks didnt (probably due to their stuttering offense)

i think im gonna watch the second quarter again tomorrow morning, see if it looks any different to me then.

No conspiracy, it simply comes down to incompetent refereeing and the players who look to exploit it. The Heat players do a very, very good job of it, and they are more often than not rewarded by the refs for it. Watch games where they flop and over-exagerate everything and aren't getting the calls, they'll be overacting in feigned indignity or jawing with the refs under the guise of friendly disagreement, buttering them up to get the calls the next time

The refs are human, and they fall for this shit like clockwork. It's not superstar treatment because the league orders it, it's because star players are put on a pedestal and these spineless refs bow down in reverence to them

NBA refs seem to be in way over their heads, it's sad, and it makes for very bad basketball to watch as a fan.

I'm only 30, but shit, players were allowed to play so much more in the 80's and 90's. I had old heads 10-15 years ago telling me they couldn't watch the NBA anymore because of what a joke it was becoming, and I was like nahhhh, and now I'm starting to feel the same way.....

Good defense now is considered putting yourself into the right position to flop and have a the ref call it like a robot. It's insane. Guys don't even try to play defense on the man, they just wait til he's driving and slide to the designated spot and fall down. It's not the way basketball is supposed to be played.

AMISTILLILL

If the perceived theory of the league 'rigging' games were true, don't you think we'd start to observe these kinds of rigging patterns in the Bulls post-season campaign? Helping their odds, giving them the benefit of referee interference... particularly now that Rose is out with an injury?

After all, it was just confirmed that Rose's jersey is the most sold NBA jersey, along with Jeremy Lin's. It's not as if the NBA doesn't stand to benefit financially from New York doing well, either. Anyone with some semblance of business decorum realizes you don't shortchange one investment to reap the benefits of another. It's pointless.

While the officiating left a lot to be desired, some people are placing far too much blame on it. The Knicks stunk it up (terrible FG% before the supposed 'ref takeover' even occurred), turned the ball over (referees weren't telling JR Smith to dribble out of bounds, nor get baited into offensive fouls against firmly planted defenders), got frustrated (referees didn't advise Chandler to set a hard, KG-on-Zaza-in-the-2008-Playoffs like screen, advise Melo to throw the ball, nor did they tell Woodson to mouth off on the sidelines and receive a T). The majority of this loss is on NY.

They were outplayed. Losing Shumpert is the likely back breaker, in the midst of an already demoralizing loss. Instead of making excuses, simply look ahead to the following games, hope for a speedy recovery for Shumpert next season and believe they'll come out with their heads on straight this Monday.

they won by 33 points.

If the Knicks think the flopping were giving the Heat the advatange then why can't they flop back?

the MAIN reason why the Heat had more free throws is because they were attacking the rim while the Knicks were taking contested jumpers the entire game.

To all of the Knicks fans, I'm sure you guys wouldn't mind if LeBron and his Heat team would switch performances with Melo and his KNicks

"Yeah, Melo completely outplayed LeBron but this win doesnt mean much because of his flopping and the ref handing him like 4 free throws because of it"

there were some bad calls but to say that determined the game is naive. miami was going to win regardless and probably pull away big

the real reasons why NY lost:
- shot 25/70
- jr smith overdribbling around the perimeter
- 26 TOs
- poor defense especially in transition and iso
- chandler being sick and committing four fouls, almost all of which were dumb in nature. he hurt his team more than helped them for sure
- playing mike bibby for 20 mins? good luck with that one

heat were better prepared, faster to loose balls, played much better D, were more aggressive and executed better. the real reason it was a bad game was because NY came out flat and got rolled on. take away ALL of miami's made FT's and they still win 76-67

i'd use the combo of the above factors over "zomg refzzzz". that stuff tends to even out over a series and i'm sure NY will get the benefit of the doubt at home

Be all that as it may, the game was still close, up until midway through the 2nd quarter when it became whistle city against the Knicks. There was no way for them to mount a comeback after that. True, the Heat may have eventually won, but the fact is all those calls killed whatever rally the Knicks were trying to come back with. This is supposed to be the playoffs, let them play.:facepalm

This:applause:

I couldnt believe the ammount of calls against the Knicks. Charges:facepalm The worst was the foul on JR Smith for breathing on Lebron when he flailed out of bounds:facepalm Flagrant on Chandler?:facepalm The Heat were constantly at the line..

Yeah they still would have won, but that shit ruined the game for me.

Hopefully its closer in game 2

Doubt it. Refs stay the same throughout the series so I expect the same robbery tomorrow.

Yo idiot!! The knicks had more turnovers (27) than Field Goals (24). That's why they lost.

Idiot, did you even watch the game? Miami players were allowed to hit and smack on defense while the Knicks were called for everything and nothing. Of course they would turn the ball over a lot and give up easy buckets after that.

No one can beat the Heat and the refs. Dallas beat them last year because the officiating was fair for the most part.

I'm hoping that the refs saw the replays and realized how Lebron made them look like fools, and they will be more careful in game 2.

Lebron also pulled that shit against the Bulls in the ECF last year, and then didn't get the same calls in the finals. People were speculating that maybe the refs had lost respect for him after watching his flops on TV. He still got one on Haywood, tho.

Heat definitely caught more breaks than the Knicks, but the Heat are definitely way better than the Knicks too.

The series is going to go 5 games. Knicks win Game 3 behind a solid performance from Melo, some good 3 point shooter...and a poor outing from Miami.

i agree. if the refs didnt cheat they would have made up those 30+ points. easy.

They weren't 30 points down when the refs started burying them. They were 1 down, if I recall correctly.

Which is the entire point.

If they're gonna let Miami play physical defense then they can't call ticky-tacky bullshit fouls on the other end. Though other than that, it wasn't too bad.

each of them a clear foul. Care to post a youtube link to a bad call there? thought so.

Pretty sure OP isn't a Knicks fan and there's plenty others saying this too.

I didn't watch the game so I have no opinion on it but when you have a good number of people talking about the same "bad calls" in the game, you have to see there is a legitimate claim in there somewhere.

Losing by 34 games tells me we probably would've lost without "bad officiating" anyway but when losing with a slap on your face is worse.

The OP isn't even a Kobe/Laker fan. You have 38000 posts since 2007 and I have not seen a quality post or one where you're not threatening or insulting someone. Seriously what the **** is wrong with you?
