Like I've said in the Boozer thread, I don't see what the problem is. I would have done the same if my hairline was receding like that.

Manu's toilet seat head gets worse every year. Don't fight it.

The best ever was Karl Malone doing a commercial for Rogaine when he had the most ridiculous case of Pube Head ever, around the time Utah went to their second Finals.

Next season the commercials were done running and he finally got smart and went into cue ball mode.

Seriously, can we leave this idiot alone?

There's never a reason to make fun of someone for how they look. Teasing can be in good fun, but I think most people know the difference. This thread isn't making fun of how he looks, but the point is it looks like his hair is growing back. Whether it's a transplant or whatever. He's not wearing a toupee.

Who cares about being "homo". Guy is 27 no less. Let him be.

bleedinpurpleTwo
04-29-2012, 02:50 PM
well, that could explain his Finals failures...

Lebron (inner voice) "oh my god, everyone's watching! I wonder if they can tell I'm using hair plugs?"

He's got a big wide head I bet he'd look worse shaving his head... look at gortat.

Lebron should just stop hiding it with the double receding headband and hairplug shit. Pulling a Thurmond/Gilmore and just not giving a f*ck is best option, nobody ever criticized those guys for their hairlines because they wore it like they didn't give a f*ck

how does it work? Is it a transplant from a dead dude or something, or can scientists regrow hair follicles that have died now?

Transplanted from the back of your own head. Hair in that area is not affected by DHT (dihydrotestosterone, converted from testosterone). Hair at the top and hairline of course too, is killed off slowly by DHT. You'd think that getting rid of DHT would work, and it does, but you need it to sustain a sex drive and functioning ***** as erectile dysfunction is a frequent side effect and has been reported to be a PERMANENT side effect.

If you were to transplant hair follicles from someone else, your body would reject it unless you were to take 10 pills a day to keep it growing (hair sheds on its own often, the follicle grows it and is a small organ thus not compatible from human to another human).

You know a lot of s**t about hair loss. I've had slight hair loss on the corners of my hair line. It isn't bad but I know I'm going to lose my locks. You'd think Lebron would do something much more...practical.

Thing is, most black guys look at least decent with a slick bald head. AT LEAST DECENT. Many look great and often better. I wish I were black.

If you want to slow down your hair loss, just apply Minoxidil (Rogaine) once a day at night before you go to bed. Side effects from it are very very very mild, some people just get an itchy scalp. Typically Minoxidil causes shedding for the first few months until the hair regrows thicker, stronger and some new hairs emerge as well. This will help you maintain your hair for longer. Try using 5% minoxidil solution (I use Kirkland's). They say to use it twice a day but its not absolutely necessary.

There are alternatives to Propecia, like RU58841, which is a non-steroidal DHT inhibitor that you mix in alcohol and propylene glycol and apply it to your scalp. This works just as good as propecia which stops MPB and regrows hair as well and works really well with Minoxidil. Its black market stuff, but it works damn well. Look into it.

Whatever you do, don't rely on shampoos, they do nothing. The only one thats been proven to work is Nizoral at 2% strength (its an anti dandruff shampoo but helps stimulation hair growth). You can't use this every day, as its not recommended, so any organic shampoo with saw palmetto (a DHT inhibitor) will marginally better than regular walgreens crap.

You want to REDUCE DHT on your scalp and only on your scalp to save your hair, otherwise in pill form your taking your chances with your sex life (don't do it).

I can't understand why people are so worried about a grown man's hairline. Simply amazing. It was funny at first, but it's a common problem and it takes most men time to come to terms with it. It has gotten a little old.

You've got it COMPLETELY wrong.

Nobody is worried. Not one bit. They're loving his MPB condition though because its socially ACCEPTED to make fun of balding men.
