i'm trying to be objective here, but isn't it normally easier to prove you are MVP by playing with second rated players?

looked at LBJ's time with Cleveland. He won MVP cos the team went 1-9 or something without him. same with Steve Nash

it's damn difficult to get MVP if you play in an all star team if you ask me

but the outcome will depend on the team improvement over last season and Durant clearly has the advantage
