I bring you my personal successor to LeBron James: Cleveland Tribute video mix. Plug in your headphones, switch to 720p, enjoy. Hope you like it.

Edit: This is an updated version that I never got to upload. Music and action timing a little better with a couple different scenes.

Nice video. Love Kyrie and can't wait to see what he can do with a more talented roster.

Good stuff.
I'm at work, so I had to play it with no sound, but you did a good job of picking the right plays and mixing them together well. I really enjoyed the training montage at the beginning.
There were a couple against the Thunder that I didn't notice in the vid that I really liked, like this one of him taking Westbrook off of the dribble...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBdFj3iPEvA
This one of making Perkins fall over he was crossed so badly...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNUa2ARgUSE
And this one of him just crushing their whole defense...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkaiZTDxvyQ
I know it isn't possible to add every single nice play, but these were in succession, were against one of the best teams in the league and were all pretty nasty.
But, you did a really nice job overall. When I get home, I'll listen to it with the sound on.

I knew I'd miss some plays. It worked on it sparingly over 3 days. Maybe 25-30 minutes each day. You'll enjoy the music I think, especially at the game winning clips.

Best thing on the front page of the nba forum :oldlol:
Sad I only got to catch a very select few of this kid playing, but he is ridiculously good. A great cornerstone for Cleveland.

Not possible. The lowest we can pick is 6th overall and we only have a 4% chance of falling that low.
In other words, your dream was wrong.

Problem is amnesty didn't exist at the time. But yes... with advantage of hindsight obviously you keep Baron to amnesty him... and get a top 8 pick. Especially because lots of draft picks turned out solid like Manimal in a draft everybody (including me) thought would suck ass.

Great video. I barely got to watch the Cavs this year, due to numerous personal issues in my life, lack of access, and lack of time, but a video like this gets me hyped up for next season, where I'll be able to watch more. We have a special talent on our hands.
Can't wait till the draft to see who they surround him with.

So many great plays in that video. I think Kyrie will get the Cavs on some national TV next year regardless who we get to go with him this year. Looking back at some of those crossover moves, really reminds me of Allen Iverson's ball movement in his rookie year. Injuries aside, Kyrie is legit and I think has a chance to become the best PG in the NBA, better than CP3.

Doesnt matter to me. I play it on mute, but I wont share. Music isnt appealing.

Kyrie's skill level, especially at his age, is remarkable. This is a kid who barely played a lick of college ball, who was 19 for the majority of the season, and who already has incredible handles and a terrific jumpshot.
I expect great things from Kyrie.

Didnt play a lick of basketball in college? Wow DukeDelonte a Cavs fan said Kyrie Irving was the best college player when he was at Duke. And based it on him being the unanimous #1 pick in the draft. But you just said he didnt play a lick of college ball. I'm oh so confused. Is DukeDelonte blatantly wrong?

I said, "barely." I don't know exactly how many games Kyrie played in college, as I never thought too much of him before I saw him in action this season, but I'm pretty sure he played in a relatively small number of games, especially considering the fact that's he's a #1 pick.
I'm sure there are others who've been following him since college, and would have said before last year's draft that he was legit. Skill like his doesn't simply explode into being from out of nowhere.

I know what you said simpleton. I was asking you how can Kyrie Irving who "barely" played college bball be considered the best college player that season. No answer?

I wouldn't know for certain. As I clearly stated in my previous post, I didn't know very much about Kyrie until this season. I would assume that his visibly obvious talent level and his qualitative impact on the games that he did play were enough to convince scouts and others that he was worthy of a #1 pick.
"Simpleton." :lol

But you would know because no college player only playing 11gms total (missed 2/3rd of the season) can be the best player in college. Its common sense. Scouts didnt draft him #1 because he was the best college player. They drafted him #1 like most prospects...talent, potential.

Why should I care if he was the best player in NCAA basketball last season? Totally irrelevant. Who cares?

Jimmer was pretty amazing for BYU in 2011.
But as RBA said, it's kinda irrelevant as Irving was the best NBA player in 2012 out of those players that played college in 2011.

Christian Laettner was considered the best player in college basketball at one time. As you said, Jimmer really was a fantastic collegiate player. A guy like Tyrus Thomas was a total beast.
The NBA is a completely different animal and it separates the men from the boys.
Btw, I actually do think that had Kyrie had a full season at Duke, he would have been clearly the best player in the country. However, it didn't happen that way and his Duke career fizzled pretty early on.
Even still, in the game that a lot of misguided people pointed to as the reason the Cavs should have chosen Williams over Irving -- Duke vs. Arizona in the NCAA Tournament, Kyrie put up 28 points on 9-15 shooting. He was basically the only guy to show up for that team.
Also, he averaged 17.5 points (53% FG, 46.2% 3PT, 90.1% FT), 4.3 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 steals.
Those are some pretty nice numbers, but he obviously didn't play enough to be considered the best NCAA player that season.
DukeDelonte tried to say Kyrie Irving was the best player in college which is why he went #1 in the draft. I explained its impossible for Irving to be the best college player having ONLY played 11gms. He laughs at that logic. I just want others to chime in and further make his argument seem well...completely retarded.
Kemba Walker was a beast that season. Jimmer was as well. But somehow Irving was the best player that season because he was the consensus #1 pick in the draft.
Whats being discussed has no relation to Irving in the NBA. Isolated question.
I just want to continue to have him see how silly he sounded. The more (posters) the merrier. :pimp:

what a sad life you have. Any scout or coach despite the lack of games Kyrie played still would have taken or regarded him as better than Jimmer or Kemba.
