BTW this is a great angle to prove it WASN'T a flop. You can see Cunningham elbow Chris Paul in the head if you open your eyes. Other videos didn't have this clear of an angle. He wasn't reacting to the ref....

If you can't see the elbow I feel sorry for you. It wasn't a hard one but nonetheless he elbowed him and that's what CP3 was reacting to. It was subtle and obviously saying the ref bumped him to make him flop is people seeing what they want to see.

So you don't see Cunningham's elbow move and connect (not hard)? You're blinded by your hate for me and not closely watching the video dude. He's not reacting to the ref. Not arguing about whether or not it's a flop but rather that his reaction is NOT to the ref. Which shoots down the whole premise of the stupid video.

Clippersfan86

Stare at Cunningham's elbow and don't look away. You'll see Chris Paul's reaction is immediately when that elbow touches his head. Timing doesn't work for it to be the ref and the angle is deceiving. Watch Cunningham's elbow jerk up subtly.

He didn't "throw" the elbow. He did bring his elbow back a little though. Not hard enough to give Paul a knot on his head or anything but he did do it. And the ref wasn't just there standing there next to them. He was coming in between them just as Cunninghams elbow went back. Paul sold it for more than it was but there was an elbow, albeit a small one.

Yup. Not saying it was malicious, hard or obvious at all. I'm just saying CP3's flop is related to that, not the ref. So people twisting it to saying it's the ref to make him look even more pathetic in their eyes is moronic and petty.

Why do you even try dude? Seriously this was among the worst responses I've seen from you GOBB. First you say I'm being a dipshit homer for even suggesting his elbow connected... then when multiple non Clippers fans say he DID get elbowed but flop, you make it about something else. The point is... this thread isn't valid due to the fact that he's NOT reacting to the ref.

what about the even more subtle push by griffin? if griffin or cp3 were to recieve a push on the arm like that by anyone, they would be laying on the 2nd row behind cameramen.

stop with the bs man, blake and cp3 have become notorious floppers. eveyrbody in the nba flops, but not to the degree that these little punks do. you can't go dunking on 2 big men on one end and flop at a slight shoulder tap at the other. it's all bs. stop being a homer dude.

I'm not a Clippers fan. I'd be saying this about Brian Scalabrine if it were him. It is what it is. Paul has been flopping for a few seasons now. I know that. I'm not coming in here saying "You people are crazy! Paul isn't a flopper!". It's just amazing to me though how people act like they're the only ones doing this. There was nothing strange about the direction he went in. It was how far back he went that made it a flop.

My computers being super slow and the gif is going picture by picture so maybe that's the reason it looks so strange to me. But it looks like the elbow or shoulder kind of comes down on the top of his head and he immediately jerks his head up in the opposite direction, if he wanted to imply strong contact I'd think he'd go forward with the motion of it. But if everyone else sees it different it's probably me just seeing it so slow that it looks weird. :confusedshrug:

He has his arm straight down the whole time and maybe brushed CP3's shoulder slightly as the ref is moving into him.

Flopping would be eliminated (or controlled at least) if the NBA just allowed these teams to play some good old fashioned defense, starting with handchecking.

Embarrassing for who? :oldlol: Fans? The game of basketball? Have you ever did anything embarrassing? Did you do it again? Usually when you do something that you find embarrassing, you don't repeat it. Or at least you try not to repeat it. If it's an embarrassing accident per se, you try not to repeat it. But something that you repeatedly do that's not an accident, obviously you don't find it embarrassing enough. Just my thoughts.

No no now. People have been taking the easy way out all day by saying things like this or "oh you're just defending Paul or oh you're just defending clipperfan". You're right in one thing. It's not that serious. And what I said stands. Whenever the flopper truly becomes embarrassed by it, then maybe they'll stop. If something embarrasses me, I won't do it again. Another easy way out reply. Sigh. I'm a turd and I'm downplaying. How am I downplaying anything? I've already said Paul and the Clippers flop. I've said obviously they aren't embarrassed enough by it which is why they keep doing it. I asked why didn't Brewer get his own flopping thread. Asking why Brewer didn't get his own flopping thread is not downplaying or condoning Paul and the Clippers' flopping and it isn't 'rationalizing' anything or defending anyone. Just because you'd like to know why one guy has a thread and another one doesn't about the same thing, that doesn't mean you're 'rationalizing'. That question had more or less to do with the double standards I see here all too often on ISH.

This, imo, is downplaying and rationalizing.

When they know for certain that it's a flop, don't call that sh!t and let the play resume. THAT, imo, is when it'll become embarrassing to the players that do it and then perhaps they'll stop.

And one more thing. Don't think for one moment that Hollins isn't bring up the flopping to get the refs attention on it tonight either. Smart man. He knows what he's doing.

He was likely trying to tack another foul onto him.

I love watching yuo drown in water. A flop is a flop is a flop. You keep trying to spin what CP3 did. It was pathetic. You can say it wasnt the ref, you can say Cunningham grazed CP3. you cant deny it was a flop, an overexaggerated attempt to try and bait the ref to call a foul when no foul was COMMITTED. Thats CP3 problem, always has been. Same with Blake. But you cant admit that what he does ia gay. So you look for little things to argue on like "It wasnt the ref", "You can see Cunningham made contact, I mean it was subtle but some contact was made"...none of this eliminates the fact CP3 blatantly flopped badly. And this is why fans frown at these antics especiallt when it comes to the Clippers who have 3 of the biggest actors in the NBA. CP3, Blake and Reggie Evans.

Keep finding silly ways to spin what CP3 did as not that big of a deal. You're a pro idiot at that.

He has his arm straight down the whole time and maybe brushed CP3's shoulder slightly as the ref is moving into him.

Cunn's right arm moves but CP3 is on Cunn's left side where his elbow remains fixed in one place, I don't see how CP3 could have been hit by Cunningham, unless we take brushing somebody with your arm as elbowing someone.

I should find a ghost to seek you out so the next time you go searching? He shows up and slaps the sh!t out of your dumbass.

 total retard fail. You realize that wasn't my post right fu** boy? Regardless you're clearly wrong. This video wasn't pointed out merely to say CP3 flops. Everybody knows and acknowledges he flops. This video was to basically say "see how low Chris Paul would go... doing this to a ref even?". Which is DEAD WRONG, just like you limpdick.

The premise of this thread is completely wrong and you got your dick caught in a bear trap by running your mouth and you have run out of options. So walk out gracefully prick.

:facepalm . See the left arm with the arm sleeve? That's what connects with CP3. A hardcore flop nonetheless... but still contact and STILL not ref.

Actually the way he throws his head back indicates he is flopping off the Ref contact.
ETA: Even that brush is a direct result of Blake's little shove, you were lucky Cunn is not some little flopping punk like CP3 or Blake.

Cunningham has been an annoying prick all series that the refs have let mug our players. He has no reason to flop. When the Clippers start throwing elbows at him and delivering hard fouls you'll know what he does.

It's not valid. It was clearly off Cunningham's left elbow. CP3 is the smartest player in the NBA. The two have been getting tangled up all series. He knew what he was doing. He was trying to get another foul on the already frustrated Cunningham.

It was such a good flop, the ref called a foul on himself.

lol...

Evans disagreed with the characterization of Paul by critics.

"I don't think he's flopping," Evans said. "He's not the flopping type of guy, in my opinion. I think he really gets fouls. You think of a flop, you think of something like what (Pau) Gasol or (Danilo) Gallinari do. That's a flop. But Chris is getting fouled."

Reggie Evans, Chris Paul's teammate and notorious flopper himself, doesn't think Chris Paul is a flopper? You don't say!

come on now dude, dont be posting that. Reggie would always defend a team mate to the point of lying, as can be seen above.

On this play, as funny as it looks with the ref walking in there, obviously Cunningham brushes him with his arm and Paul obviously accentuates the contact ridiculously therefore another flop from the biggest flopper in the league. Pretty embarrassing stuff, shameless. The thing I dont get is from both him and Lebron (who does flop, just not as much as Paul) is that they don't need to, they are too good. Same with Griffin. Just play.

If you can't see the elbow I feel sorry for you. It wasn't a hard one but nonetheless he elbowed him and that's what CP3 was reacting to. It was subtle and obviously saying the ref bumped him to make him flop is people seeing what they want to see.

You're kidding yourself.
