- Carlos Boozer, following the Bulls elimination from the playoffs

[QUOTE]"

I thought I played well, especially with the kind of season it was. We had the best record again in basketball, won our division again, had the top seed again, that

If I were on top of the Willis Tower and saw Boozer walking down the street, I would jump off aiming to land on his bald ugly head, killing both of us.

He's pretty much saying, "Well, sure, we didn't win a championship and even with our best record, we got swept by an 8th seed, but c'mon. All that matters is that we had a great record in the regular season."

I'd take my chances on Amare's knees, MSG fire extinguishers over crap Boozer.

Boozer is a positive dude.

This has to be going down in history to sum up his career.

Imagine if LeBron said this after one of his Playoff eliminations.

This site would explode.

Boozer for Amare?

I actually might want this now. They both don't look very good right now but at least Amare's issues have mostly been due to injuries and lack of chemistry with Melo and those are also the main reason for his playoff struggles the last 2 years. When healthy and on the right team, he's been relatively a good playoff performer capable of having a big playoff game and not scared of the moment. With Boozer, it almost feels like a guarantee that he'll shrink astronomically in the playoffs. He's also a year older and isn't durable either. Amare gets paid more but its not like we're going to be at or above the cap anyway for the next few years so we won't be able to get a big time free-agent anyway.

Actually, forget this idea. I'd rather just amnesty Boozer and try to sign KG for the MLE.

Got to go with Al Jefferson's comments after game 3 myself:

"I just think we're playing against a team that's at its peak," Jefferson said. "I don't see nobody beating them. It's a great team. I just take my hat off to them. Mad respect."

Added Jefferson: "It gets to the point where you're just playing a team that's better than you."

If he's still on the team next year :facepalm

You're highest paid payer conceding victory before the series is over is hardly nothing to me. Sounds like his team wasn't too impressed by it either understandably.

It's being overanalyzed. It was just a reaction, in the moment. And he was talking about all the other teams.
