Born and raised in Chicago, thus I'm a Bulls, Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks fan (FVCK THE CUBS!). Long story short, after my teen years, I've lived in SoCal and Mexico about half my life since moving away from Chicago, I thought about going back but got spoiled by the nice warm weather and now I can't stand the cold climate :lol

I'm only going to be in San Antonio a few more months and I'll be heading back to my wife and kids in Mexico where we own our own home and family business. I have nothing against the Spurs, in fact I've rooted for them in the 2000s vs the Lakers and recently against LeBron but I'm a diehard Bulls fan til the day I die.

Yeah thats me. Nah was in Montenegro on holiday the summer of 2012. I left the country when i was a kid, but all my cousins still live there so I go back every year to see them. They grew up with Jovetic in a suburb of Podgorica called "Stari-Aerodom" (Old-Airport) before he moved to Partizan-Belgrade. We were at some beach in Budva and my cousin so Jovetic and they started talking......and Jovetic invited us to go out with him that night. Adem Ljajic tagged along. :oldlol: :oldlol:

You cant compare the two. Budva is like a mini-version of Dubrovnik. However, if you're looking to party and hang out at the beach; Budva is better for ya. Dubrovnik has a lot of history and looks beautiful, but its full of fat German and British middle aged couples, while Budva is full of hot Serb/Russian/Bosnian women. Budva is much better for partying. if youre more about exploring culture than i recommend Boka Kotorska (which is in between the two towns)

My personal favorite destination however is Sveti Stefan. Its an island of the coast of Budva that used to be a fortress town who faught against Turkish pirates. Now its an exclusive hotel (Djokovic got married there), so you wont get to go onto it, but its worth seeing.

Someon mentioned earlier that it reminded them of Game of Thrones. Well heres a small history of Montenegro. When the Serbian Empire (And the rest of the Balkan kingdoms) fell to the Ottoman Empire, defeated Serbian soldiers escaped to the mountains of Montenegro and managed to keep it independent for 500 years against constant Turkish attack. The Montenegrins were ruled this whole time by a family dynasty of Bishops known as Vladikas. These Bishops/Priests actually led the front lines in all the battles against Turks/Austrians/Venetians/Albanians/Muslim Serbs etc. The most famous of all these prince-bishops was Petar Petrovic Njegos, who upon his death was buried on the highest peak in Montenegro ; Lovcen, in order to be as close to God as possible.


My personal favorite is the Ostrog Serbian Orthodox Monastry. The most sacred Christian-Orthodox Holy place in the Balkans. It was built like 400 years ago into the face of a mountain. Its expected that people who visit walk from the base of the mountain all the way to the top (some few hundred meters)
