Who wants to be an NBA forum mod?

Jeff asked me who a new one should be. So I figured why not actually let some sane OTC people have some input. Obviously the OTC crowd is a bit more, we'll say mature, and have an idea of what a rational discussion should consist of.

So who? Name names, many as you can think of. God knows the NBA forum needs at least 10 more.

A mod doesn't have to know that much hoops in my opinion so I don't know why people keep nominating posters who are just smart. A mod just has to know what is bullshit and what should be posted and what should be deleted. You don't even know have to know the game of basketball to be able to do that job.

thing is nobody has to reply to what they don't want to reply to. thats what gets me about people who get all mad at people who post a lot of threads here, none of them have to read them. and a lot of them think if they don't like it nobody else will enjoy it or be entertained by it, when thats not true. look at how much crap slayerenraged got a week ago, and now people are slowly but surely responding to his threads for real....

and honestly 95% of ISH is scared to post threads for whatever reasons. and most first time posters are posting worse topics than any of the ones the regulars are from what i've seen. i swear people here just love to jump on people who post a lot of threads and its just so dumb when none of them are being forced to read them.

and if you look thru the post history of most of those on that list, they've all made very good threads every so often that garnered a lot of interest. while those that lurk and criticize from their perch are the least contributory, but seem to have the biggest ego's here. they remind me of constant complainers that get nothing done or never help the cause, just complain.

I do have a Jekyl and Hyde type issue with sports lol. In the rest of my life I'm very level headed and relaxed but sports bring the worst out of me. Especially the Clippers.
