why don't more asian men have 'staches and beards?

Ive been watching this korean soap opera in which the setting was in both 1700s and today. i noticed more men rocked beards back then, but you rarely see that now. did they just stop developing facial hair? Or is it by choice?

I think more asian dudes should grow staches or beards if they could.

i like having a beard, but i shave about 1 every two weeks.

my beard looks good up to a point. certain spots on my chin don't grow hair as fast as others so when it gets to a certain lengths i look stupid.


the best thing to do when i shave is the see how i look with different styles.... fu man chu, handle bar mustache, regular mustache, goatee, ect...

A lot of asians can't grow hair on their faces. I'm Italian and I keep the scruffy 5 o clock shadow look. I havent shaved fully in 6 years.

i was browsing through my hulu plus catalog and i noticed they had a crap load of korean soaps. one caught my eye for some reason called "rooftop prince." im 3 episodes in and so far it's pretty good. my grandmother is a big fan of korean soaps so im pretty familiar with it.

Because many, if not most (including myself) is incapable of growing more than little scraggly whiskers. I literally shave every few weeks/months and it's still barely noticeable.

Because we live in a society where more and more attractive women prefer men clean shaven. Even men without body hair. There are exceptions of course. I know a friend where she likes her guys a little tubby and as much hair as possible. But from my experience the more shaven you are, the better chance you have at attracting women to you versus not shaving.
