I haven't seen him miss too many, but I don't really watch Boston too much so i don't know.


I do know though that Evan Turner is allowed to leave Rondo wide open on the perimeter and defend against other guys, so Philly a lot of times gets to go 5 on 4 against Boston's other 4 guys and this has helped them a lot. It's pretty ridiculous.

Rondo's arms length doesn't mean that he's going to miss a layup every time in case that how people are taking it, just that he will miss more often than similar size point guard. To release the ball, it has to cover more distance, which complicates thing, than a similar movement from someone with arms more proportion. Draw a one inch quarter circle on your desk with your finger, and then do it again but a two feet one. Much longer distance to cover, much more movement. A few percentages more could equal layups, jumpers being slightly more difficult.
