Completely expected. Its not really a case of allowing him to rest cause they can't afford it anymore. Its apparent that he is pretty much needed now. The Spacing, Rebounding and source of points has really been an issue, and if not careful, Miami could let this slip away.
If he says he can play, let him play. We're at the point now where you just suck up the pain to get the ring.

This is nothing more than a sign of desperation from the Heat camp. They have no real answer for KG, which is only further exposing the fact they have no real bigs on the Heat. Bosh ahs declined to comments to his condition, leading me to believe that he's really not 100. And if he's not, he'll end up being more of a liability on the court, than an asset. The Heat are definitely in panic mode now, that's for sure.

I wonder will he be the same? I wonder if they are going to start him or he'll come off the bench? It'll probably take a while for him to get back to his normal numbers. He may hurt the team or he can somehow have a great game.

With Bosh back, the double teaming of Wade will cost them.

the heat are better with him but we'll just have to see if he's really close to 100%. i also won't believe it until he's in his jersey warming up for the game.
rust is also a factor but bosh can't really hurt them too much anyway. at the very least, he's going to bother KG a bit more, get some boards and be another guy who can set nice screens and make passes inside. miami uses him a lot by flashing him in the high post or having him set a pin down screen to get lebron or wade deep post position. he's really a part of their initial offense in more than half their plays

Cant hurt... Would have been handy to have Bosh to take the clutch 3 today, he seems to make them when the pressure is on:rockon:
Not sure why he gets so much hate on here:confusedshrug:
Maybe Miami should start games ready to play for a change, instead of playing half assed and trying to catch up. Practising free throws wouldnt hurt either:facepalm

Once Miami went up 2-0, I knew this was basically their plan -- they would try to get one of the games in Boston, if not, buy Bosh an extra 3-4 days of rest and come back for the game in Miami (game 5).
It's been about a full 3 weeks too ... he should be good to go, just will take a little while to get his timing back, but if he can grab a few boards and hit a few Js, it will help the Heat a lot.

Losing games in the Conference Finals is not a "plan." They played hard, no way were they giving those 2 games away.

Bosh = highly ineffective against the Celtics during the regular season, and now coming into the playoffs injured. Very intelligent.

Bosh coming back is either a good or a bad thing for the Heat.
Either he plays like he used to
OR
He messes the "offense" of the Heat up cause they got used to Bosh being absent & let's get real he's not an improvement defensively.

I think they'll lose defense with Bosh in but will be much better on offense and on the boards depending on how he plays. Bosh is the worst big man defender of the bigs in the rotation which could raise KG's offensive production/game.

06-04-2012, 10:53 AM
I wonder if Spo will bench him if he goes something like 1 of 15 shots...nah he won't bench him.
All Bosh needs to do is stand next to Garnett and stand under the rim, nothing else.... that will do the deal... Garnett has been getting lob passes all series long in the post/paint because some 6'8" guys are defending him or he might got a switch and had Chalmers or Wade or Battier on him and Celtics have been outrebounding the Heat for same reason aswell.........
Offense is not a problem, Defense is the problem... they cant get stops, they cant control the defensive rebounds, Heat are terribly undersized, they just need ANY long guy just standing under / around the rim with out stretched arms...

It was clear they needed him in the Indiana series. He spreads the floor and pulls the opposing teams out of the paint to guard him, thus giving driving lanes to Lebron and Wade. They are a much better team with him.

Bosh would be an upgrade in terms of rebounding but a downgrade defensively compared to Turiaf, Anthony, Haslem, etc. Bosh is probably the worst defensive big on the Heat although that isn't much of a shot at Bosh. It's just the fact that every Heat big except Bosh is a defensive specialist.
The only think Bosh offers defensively that Anthony and Turiaf do not offer is length but that really doesn't mean much. KG might not be able to get those easy lobs and layups but he could probably score in the low-block much easier with Bosh on him than with Anthony, Turiaf, Haslem, etc.

I don't see how Bowen could possibly say it was a bad move.
Even if he doesn't play well, he's going to need a few games to get back into the flow of things...so its not like they can wait until the Finals to give him a few practice games...because by then they might be down 2-0 to the Spurs already.

So what???? He is just the 3rd option (may be bumped to 4th now cause Chalmers is playing so efficient), and he is not 100% fit. He was never a great defender.
His presense will only take away some touches and points from his teammates...
Boston will rather have him than the physical Haslem.

If Bosh can play like an all-star, he will be the second option over Chalmers.
And that's kinda like a big deal on a team with no depth especially at the PF and C spot.
