This heat circus has to end.
LBJ is not to be blamed. Wade is not to be blamed at all. Great teams are made with solid very good coaching.
Just looking at Doc Rivers & than evaluating spoelstra statement of "we just need to weather the storm" is a joke.
MIA is playing at home. what "storm". :lol
Hopefully this joker's coaching career is done for good.

Lebron was once again too willing to give the ball up and stand in the corner. What happened to moving without the ball or taking some initiative? You're the damn MVP!! The so-called best player in the game. Play like it!!

I have no idea what they choked on, their pre game meal?, they played well I blame the whole heat team and spoelstra for not calling a time out and getting on his team about their shitty transition defense. Had that been pop after the first lax defensively he would have called a time out and gotten his team refocused. There's plentyof other stuff he should have done, too late though .

This is what I noticed in the last 5-7 minutes too. He wasn't "bad" per se, just VERY passive and too willing to defer to Wade (who to his credit made some unbelievable plays late).

I don't even see this game as a choke, the Celtics just flat out outplayed them, Garnett down low was giving them problems all night long.
And what the hell, who cares who wins in the east, the Thunder will RAPE these teams.

Yes, you can. Just because he scores 28 points with 8 minutes to go, doesn't mean he should do nothing the rest of the game.
This game is all about runs. You want to be the last team making a run in crunch time. Who cares if he was great in the first half? That doesn't win you games in the playoffs.

Pretty obvious that Bosh re-aggravated the injury. He looked good in the first half, as you said, but after getting the muscles moving again and then cooling down at halftime, injuries will often show themselves. I would be willing to bet that is what happened and it may hurt his availability for Game 6.

He did not play great today but wasn`t that bad either. Boston has 4 All Star Level Players: Pierce, Garnett (who is playing like a 25 year old), Allen and Rondo. Thats more than Wade and Injured Bosh

True, but why would you call him the best player in the world then?
He's the best basketball player in the world period, just hasn't developed that "I'm bigger, badder, stronger than you, and there is nothing you can do about it" mentally. Doesn't take away from his natural ability of being able to play the game of basketball, he is maybe not as competitive as other dudes, idk?!?!?
In contrast, Pierce and Garnett are not even close to being the player James is, but have more of a will to win, and play with more passion than him.
It think James may have been handed too much too early, and feels he doesn't have to earn anything.

I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing that. I think Spo may just be spinning it to keep the Celtics guessing. I simply cannot imagine a scenario where Bosh could have played in the second half but they chose not to put him in because they didn't want him to play too many minutes.
We'll see how it plays out in 48 hours, but I still believe that he re-aggravated it or it stiffened up on him at halftime and he was unable to go... Despite whatever Spo is saying to the media.

It's a team game and everyone on the team should be held accountable. Again, guys aren't playing in an individual bubble out there. Just because one guy is putting up good numbers doesn't mean he is safe from blame.
The fact that these guys have all of this talent and they still haven't figured out a way to work well together and dominate what is an old, injury-riddled Celtics team is an epic failure for all involved.
And, since James is presumably the guy most responsible for making this team perform like a well oiled machine (he has the ball the majority of the time), he deserves quite a bit of the blame.
It seems to me that either James is dominating the ball and doing his "Cleveland LeBron" thing or he is near invisible. There is no in-between and I think it hurts when you are attempting to build an elite team, not just a few guys who can score at a pretty good rate on isolations.

Erm, this is his second year and he is presumably in his prime. He is on the verge of being eliminated in six games by an older, more injury-riddled Celtics team than the one the Cavs lost to in seven games in 2008 and in six games in 2010 (the year he decided to stop playing after Game 3).
I mean, did you see his last three games in a Cleveland uniform? Didn't look like he was carrying much of anything.
Also, both of his seasons in Miami have been in his prime years. LeBron in Cleveland was not nearly this polished until around 2008.
The fact that you are still blaming his presumed failures on Cleveland is comical. Good luck with that.

In retrospect, I wish he would have left sooner because this rebuilding process has been fun.
Then again, if he hadn't waited until 2010, we likely wouldn't have gotten Kyrie Irving, so it worked out well.
And, being Top 5 "ability wise" and a dollar bill will get you a 16 oz of soda.
He spent seven years here, we had as much success with him as the Heat have had thus far and the Heat are about to get eliminated and have zero roster mobility aside from trading one of their Big 3, while the Cavs are building a really nice young core.
Good riddance.

Let's not get it twisted. The fact is that Lebron is a physical BEAST and has a unique skill set. You can't take that away from him. The problem is that he is not making the most of said talent. At this point, with all the experience and accolades, we shouldn't be using the word "potential", but he is still not playing to his maximum capability, and perhaps never will. Lebron is lacking the intangibles to make him a complete player. It may come in time, but he does not have it at this point in his career, which should be troublesome.
For that reason, LBJ is not the best player in the world. Imagine if he had the competitive nature of Rondo or Westbrook, the intensity of KG, and the willingness to take over like Durant or Kobe (just using quick examples)? He would be in the conversation for GOAT.
If you're a CAVSFANATIC, why the hell are you on LeBron's side in this ?
So supporting Cavs automatically means that you should take every chance to bash Lebron?

The thing is in the 4th quarter, when the game is on the line teams are afraid of a Dirk or Durant. They are played tight. Nobody in their right ****ing mind would give them a fairly uncontested 15 footer. Teams will try to force the ball out of their hands. When the 4th quarter arrives in Miami everybody dares LeBron to shoot. Teams will play off him a bit, cut-off his driving lane and dare him. They don

"OK LeBron, for starters we're going to need you to run an offense where you have all of one player, maybe two depending on how Mario Chalmers is feeling, who can create their own shot. That one player though, there's no telling what you're going to get from him half to half so you're going to have to score 30 points every night. But you also need to facilitate and spread the ball around enough so you can get your teammates going. Defensively, you're going to guard all five positions and everybody on that team from Rondo to Pierce and Garnett. And since Bosh is out, we're going to need you to protect the glass as well. You're also playing 45 minutes a night, so don't get tired."
I just wonder who else in the NBA (present or past, although I'm sure there's at least a couple names) could take on the responsibility LeBron's been tasked with and fulfill so many roles and excel to the level he has, while covering up so many of his team's flaws just so Miami can be competitive since Bosh went down?
Eh, we're fans. It's in our DNA to bitch, moan and undermine greatness.

I still don't understand why Cavs fans hate LeBron so much. They assembled absolute garbage around him every season he was there and they expect him to stay?
He carried the team on his back every season. The champions always consist of good teams, not 1 or 2 superstars and a bunch of scrubs.
PM me when Miami wins a championship... Then we can talk about how wise it was of Lebron to go there with his buddies.

"OK LeBron, for starters we're going to need you to run an offense where you have all of one player, maybe two depending on how Mario Chalmers is feeling, who can create their own shot. Lebron knew exactly what situation he was going to when he signed with Miami. He couldn't expect Riley to get more talent based on the remaining cap after you factor in the big 3's contracts. The road to greatness is not supposed to be easy. If he can't hack all the responsibilities you mentioned, it's on him to speak up for the good of the TEAM.

If LeBron had stayed in Cleveland, demanded a new GM as part of his re-signing terms, and a decent head coach, Cavs would be condending last year and this year.
Without a doubt.
Those teams he had were better than this shit in Miami. Even if he stayed and they signed stat and some more shooters they would have breezed through to the finals...
Watching a Heat game now is just sad, wasted talent:facepalm

That team that was absolutely suited for playing to his strengths and style.
The Cavaliers offensive system was solely built around LeBron's strength and to cater to his game.

if he picked his own gm and coach people woupd hate on him even more
also, the cavs already had more than enough shooters
we were stuck with some bad contracts, not a lot of ways to improve with mo and tawns contracts

I didnt mean he chooses them, i meant that they find someone more competent for the roles...
The roster only needed slight tweaking...
Im not saying he's playing badly this series, hes the only one who is consistantly showing up, but it would have been a better situation had he stayed.

Heh, I'm not entirely sure that addresses my question. To your non-sequitor....definitely, cuz Mike Miller should totally be making more than any non-big 3 player of this team.

To me that was the problem. What happens when LeBron comes off or when he is having an off game? The team has nothing. No one else on that team could create there own shot.

Who said anything about his points ?
Terry hit a clutch three in his face in game 5,yesterday Pierce hit a clutch three in his face in game 5. Both for 3-2 series lead and both coming against veteran teams.
That's the similarity.

I simply cannot imagine a scenario where Bosh could have played in the second half but they chose not to put him in because they didn't want him to play too many minutes.
Bosh in his post-game interview said he can definitely give more. That seemed like a direct shout out to 'Spo for not playing him in the 4th.

I still don't understand why Cavs fans hate LeBron so much.
Butt-hurt over the fact that LeBron was so RIGHT to leave them - he was carrying 20-win casts to 60+ wins there. It's that fact that bothers them so much. They have no defense for that. Cleveland was exposed as an utter joke last season. Nobody could question LeBron's decision after that. His execution, sure, but not his decision.
:oldlol: @ them now hating on Miami's likely ECF exit. Call me when a team wins a championship without their 3rd best player.

Lebron was once again too willing to give the ball up and stand in the corner. What happened to moving without the ball or taking some initiative? You're the damn MVP!! The so-called best player in the game. Play like it!!
Everybody keeps blaming Spo, but this lies on the players more than anything and it's mostly because of this.
They simply don't know how to play basketball.
It's like they run what Spo wanted them to run once, and then they just go back to playing pick up ball. Bron's unwillingness to play a mid range/post up game drives me bat shit insane, Wade's heaves at the basket drive me f*Ckin wild, but more than anything their stand in a f*ckin spot no cutting is an embarrassment to the game.

It was during the back to back when he was the teams best scorer, defender, passer and team leader.
