LeBron should have promised 8 hustle trophies. The Heat are definitely getting one this year!
Stop ripping on LeBron, he tries hard. He promised 8 championships, do you have any idea how much hustle and effort that will take?
The Heat are super sad in the locker room - I don't get it. They got to play basketball on TV! They should have had so much fun!
Watching a replay of that Paul Pierce 3-pointer...LeBron ALMOST got a hand in his face. Good effort, good job!
@KingJames I think you played great! I know you hustled so much you were super tired the last 2 minutes. Good effort! Good job!
To me this game ended in a tie. Boston and Miami each scored 10,000 hustle points.
Leaving the game...why is everyone so mad right now?? I saw a lot of awesome hustle out there.
The Heat should have won - they fall down way more than everyone else. Diving on the floor=good effort!

Agreed, I thought it was genuine as well. Funny still though because it catches you off guard and at first I didnt understand he was saying good effort (thought he wanted a jersey. good job gimme ur shirt as each player walked passed). But I dont think he was trolling or being an ass. Just fans reading into it too much because the Heat are involved.

so unintentionally hilarious. why did he sound so mic'd up? he must have been screaming his ass off. plus, it just seemed so random :lol
i too believe it's genuine. it's probably (and obviously) a young kid who is new to basketball/sports and loves it. he might even play competitively which is where the 'good job, good effort' thing would originate from. that's very common to hear in any pop or youth league.
funny as hell to us...but just a young supportive kid at the end of the day. we were all young like that. unlimited optimism. that kid is more a fan than some that post on here.
i still can't imagine myself not laughing whenever i hear it though. a new nba meme has been born

Espn does a great job with their audio and picking up sounds from not only players but fans. If you ever notice espn games you can hear an overzealous fan if you listen for it. In fact many games had posters here in game threads laughing at the random voice. I cant remember what game but it was vs Miami and a fan sitting behind the espn commentating crew as trolling Bron.

I can't believe he'd still do it even after being called out. Can't believe it.
Wade also...
And here is your best 1-2 punch in the league...
Best player in the league??? GOAT??? Pathetic.
Magic, Bird and Jordan, the real GOATs would never do this.

"For those people who thought I was being sarcastic, you're wrong," Meyer said on Wednesday. "I was being enthusiastic. I was saying the truth. I would never hurt the Heat's feelings like that."
"Based on their expressions, they didn't seem happy being beaten by four points. I wanted to cheer them up," he said. "I really meant it."
"The Miami Heat are real winners. It doesn't matter if they win or lose. In my heart they win every single game," Meyer said. "In my heart, every year they get the championship."
