Real talk.
Jordan lost in 95 without an inside rebounding/defensive presence PF like LeBron is now.
Jordan put up better playoff stats in 95 than 96, 97, or 98.
Jordan was coached by Phil Jackson, LeBron has Spoelstra
He had Peak Pippen, Ron Harper who was doing 20/6/5 in 94, 94 All-Star BJ Armstrong, the "Euro Jordan" in Kukoc, and still lost to 3rd year Shaq and 2nd year Penny with the elimination game coming in CHICAGO
Dude comes back drops 55 on one of the best defensive teams in the league, and yall want us to believe that 2 MONTHS LATER when he's averaging his highest playoff stats post 93 he's somehow....not himself

LeBron is losing to a battle tested championship veteran team.
Jordan lost to a team led by two 3rd and 2nd year players.

Excellent point. Haters won't listen though. Lebron is getting jobbed by having to deal with Spo, no bosh, and a terrible D-Wade.
Best player in the league has to deal with a bad team just like the cavs days.
Maybe cause Lebron isn't a 3x champion already?

No one held a gun to Lebron's head when he signed with the Heat. And according to Lebron, he said it was going to be easy winning those championships.
No excuses. And if Lebron is al great, he should be able to lead his team.without Bosh and a supposed bad D Wade with a terrible coach.

These two statements right here pretty much took away any right he has to a pass. When you're gonna write a check with your mouth, make damn sure your ass cashes it, son.
I gave him his pass in Cleveland, to be honest. He worked his ass off for that franchise and the best they could do was "Here's Antawn Jamison and a guy named Booby. Make it happen!"

Aside from 2010, I agree. And I'm fairly certain that he's going to regret quitting that year, for the rest of his life. Because if he hadn't they easily dismantle the C's, and then go on and beat the Lakers.

Dudes act like Jordan was away from the game for 10 years....it was a year and a half and he was in his prime still playing pickup with nba and college players
And you're acting like Lebron already has 3 titles and has nothing to prove like Jordan did at the time. Lebron hasn't lived up to his hype yet, while Jordan clearly surpassed it even at that point. Thats why its not the same.

Playing pickup ball occasionally isn't anything like playing NBA games and practicing multiple times a week. Your skills would deteriate no matter who you are. Ray Allen is a great shooter, but he still has to practice hundreds of shots a day to stay that good.

Phil who ?????????
ESPN Sportscentury Michael Jordan:
"...Phil Jackson was never the coach of the Team. It was Michael Jordan. Its Jordan's standards they had to live up to. Its Jordan they feared the most...."
Michael Jordan made Phil Jackson into who he was when he took LAL job as 6 times championship winning head coach.
Take MJ out of the bulls. Phil will be loosing NBA finals & playoffs to:
-Magic's LAL 1991
-1992 & 1993 knicks just like Phil & Pippen & co lost to 1994 knicks
-1996 sonics
-1997 Jazz
-1998 Pacers
Phil should be kissing the floor MJ walks on. He literally made Phil's legacy. We all know how a good coach like Doc River's exposed Phil Jackson in 2008 finals. :coleman:
There is just to much expectations from Lebron.... from me aswell...
But the way i see it is like this... i only want Lebron to perform up to his standards (which he is doing right now)... winning a championship is a team accomplishment, so everything else is completely out of his hands.... how his teammates make shots, pass, rebound, hustle, block, steal, deflect, defend is COMPLETELY out of his hands.... a player can control only how HE plays.. he can help his teammates get better shots by facilitating or he can motivate them with his speech.... but the talent-skill their teammates have cant miraculously get boosted...
Many people refuse to get this and act like a championship is the act of one man.... if that was the case, if this was a 1 on 1 game, believe you me Lebron would had at least a couple of championships right now...

Because LeBron's abysmal performance last year needs to be made up this year. The only way that happens is if he wins this year. That's mainly the reason why.

Is this a serious question? I hope not.
It's pretty easy to see why MJ got a pass for 95. He had enough cred built up to earn. Three titles, multiple MVP's, etc. Not to mention that he came back with 17 games left in the season with a body that was built for baseball, not basketball. And he more than validated the pass that he got in 95 by leading the Bulls to 3 more titles from 96-98.

Because at that point in 1995, Jordan had already proven he can win championships. He already had 3 rings. In this case, Lebron still has to prove he can win it all. Simple as that. Also another thing, Jordan just recently came out of retirement that year too.

Orlando was the #1 seed, the Bulls were the #5 seed.
Bulls had not much as far as expectations that season.
Orlando had the best record in the East, the Bulls the 5th best record.
In this scenario the Heat had the 2nd best record in the East (really the best record since Rose was out for Chicago) and the Heat have had HCA in each series. Not to mention was heavily favorite over Boston even without Bosh who were the #4 seed (5th best record in conference).

Every analyst picked them over Boston.
And here were the expectations even before the season started. Boston did not get a single vote.

Why are you talking about what 1994 Ron Harper did? The 1995 version of Ron Harper was at 7/2/2. BJ Armstrong was the role player that he always was.
As has been stated many times, MJ earned a pass in 1995, then validated it from 96-98. Any more questions?

Facts about 95:
Jordan lost in 95 without an inside rebounding/defensive presence PF like LeBron is now. 96 they got Rodman an the Magic lost Ho Grant. Its like taking Garnett away from the Celtics and giving him to the Heat.
Jordan put up better playoff stats in 95 than 96, 97, or 98.
Jordan comes back drops 55 on one of the best defensive teams in the league, and you want us to believe that 2 MONTHS LATER when he's averaging his highest playoff stats post 93 he's somehow....not himself
Training camp itself is 2 weeks......not 2 MONTHS
Jordan lost to a team led by a 3rd year Shaq and 2nd year Penny.

He doesn't. that is why he is 24-0 in series with HCA and 14-0 against 50+ win teams. Lebron has already lost 3 series with HCA and if he loses to the Celtics it will be 4 series with HCA. Not to mention it would be 4 years in a row where he lost with HCA. Not to mention this would be the 3rd time that Lebron has won MVP and lost the series in the playoffs while having the higher seed, better record, HCA in the series.

all it means is he lost to the superior team in those years. Every year he lost he lost to a team that was a higher seed that either won the title or was in the finals. He never lost to a team seeded lower than 2nd.

Sometimes I wonder if I saw a different video than everyone else. dude was just trash talking to get the crowd hype, people still clinging onto his words years later like he's Cervantes.
The only other player I can remember making such a bold statement was Magic when he guaranteed a repeat.
He made true on his promise. Or was he just " talking trash"?

OP, you're asking why a player who
won 3 titles by the time 95 came around, and went on to win 3 more titles the VERY NEXT 3 years
with the SAME FRANCHISE he started with and never quit on despite the many hardships in his earlier days
gets a "pass" over a player who quit on his team in an elimination game in 2010, left his team to join two other Top 15 players in the league, went on to average 18 ****ING PPG IN THE ****ING NBA FINALS, SCORING LESS THAN 10 POINTS IN THE FOURTH QUARTERS OF A 6 GAME SERIES COMBINED, and gets eliminated despite being the superior team?
Are you really serious right now????
Are you REALLY comparing Scottie Pippen or Ron ****ing Harper to Dwayne Wade???
I thought you were a quality poster. Ya learn something new everyday.

Didn't Shaq do that, too? I remember him promising to bring a ring.
But saying you're going to just dominate for years on end is ridiculous. Promising a repeat or even promising a win is not a big deal because IF YOU LOSE, why does it matter if you were wrong?

To be fair, only the 1989 series against Cleveland and New York were the Bulls not favored to win, and I think they were toss ups. Kobe's Lakers have only been the favorites in 1 series without HCA since Shaq left, the 2008 Finals. All others they were the heavy underdogs.

That's not true at all. Many people picked the Suns in '93 and '98 Jazz to win it. I think the '93 Knicks, too.
Point being, why is this dickrider eliteballer talking about winning without HCA to begin with when his hero has never even done so as the leader of his team?

Bulls were not favored in any of them except vs the Hornets in 95. And the 89 series' were not toss ups and neither was the 93 ECF or the 98 Finals. The opponents were favored. You can argue that the 93 finals was a tossup.

We're not talking about individual series....we're talking about CHAMPIONSHIPS.
In 7 of his 13 seasons as a Bull Jordan couldnt win a title because he didnt have homecourt advantage at some point.
If he did...he would have won since he is undefeated with homecourt advantage.

Not exactly sure what's your point. Are you knocking him cause he didn't have HCA in every series he's played in? Are you saying he absolutely needed HCA to win titles? Cause some of those series mentioned did occur in the title years.

The difference is its obvious that james doesnt want the big moment. I think he only does it to try to quiet his critics. I mean, why would you pass the ball to shane battier with a man on him? Why pass the ball to a rookie norris cole? Both in the waining momets of a close tough game.
James needs to stop worrying about what people are gonna say and think about him and just do him.
Jordan didnt play bad vs orlando. He made some bad decisions but they were agressive. And he wasnt trying to steer clear of the ball. Its clear the bulls problem was that they needed some help down low.

Especially the 98' Finals. Pretty much everyone thought the Bulls were out of gas since they narrowly beat the Pacers in the ECF in 7 games while the Jazz swept the Shaq and 3 other all-star Lakers in the WCF...
