LMAO! Guess he couldn't take the Celtics losing to the Heat.

So much for that big pay day fight with Mayweather.

I know this is bball forum.. but Manny is a big Celtics fan and he was watching the Celtics lose in his locker room before the fight...

Pacquiao lost millions of dollars tonight. I guess we won't get to see the one big fight we all want after all. Losing by split decision is tough.

Pacquiao literally won at least 10 of the 12 rounds and they gave a split decision to Bradley. This was the most rigged fight in history

Karma is a damn biatch, I believe the last Pac-Man fight, he lost it but judges gave to him. no payback.

ESPN calling the decision quote "corruption."

The ESPN analyst scored the fight 11 rounds to 1 for Pac.:confusedshrug:

This is yet another example of why Boxing is dying as a sport in this country.

Looks like I'm gonna have to start paying attention to MMA finally. This was as bad of a decision as I've ever seen. Bradley spent 7 rounds walking repeatedly into Manny's left hand. Manny proceeded to then toy with him for the final five rounds, throwing a knockout punch now and then and continuing to tag him with straight lefts.

Wow!

Apparently the only thing missing in this match was the WWE's Vince McMahon.

ESPN is all over it. Apparently it really was that bad. I hope a rigged fight doesn't over shadow the NBA coverage of Game 7 in the coming days.

Kingwillball
06-10-2012, 01:21 AM
If people thinking bball is rigged at times what boxing has become is criminal. Harold Ledderman the ringside judge scored Pacman 11-1 in rounds.. the worst decision against a fighter of Pacmans calibur in over 20 yrs of watching boxing..

Zedja

Pacman knock out round 8 against Bradley for the rematch. Pacman won't let this happen again

To watch a fight apparently this bad only feeds the corruption that started it. We actually should be doing the opposite. If Pac had won and the fight had been straight, you wouldn't see 2 active threads on it in an NBA forum.

Absolutely glorious.

Karma is a bitch Pacquiao. He was totally unprofessional today since the beginning. Holding up the fight for the game only to make everyone wait another 30(about, give or take) minutes after the fact, taking rounds off or just trying to steal rounds by only fighting with a minute left, and then smiling and laughing with people ring side in the middle of the fight...it was a complete joke to watch.

Not everyone gets their justice, but Pac did tonight. And this whole devout Christian act for his political career, I'm not buying it at all. Nor should anyone else, like I said, it's just a political move for a guy who has no place in any sort of political office.

And on another note, it was a much closer fight than the crowd and ringside announcers led everyone to believe. Pacquiao was all flash. Though he did land the best punches in the fight, boxing is a score based sport. The punches landed and thrown stats were being counted by a seemingly blind man, since Bradley wasn't getting credited for connects while Pac was getting credited for punches that were not even landing cleanly.

Can't wait until this Mayweather and Pacquiao era is gone. These guys are said to be great for the sport, etc, etc...yet we have two of the best fighters in the world, who are in the same weight class(pretty much), that will never fight. Just be gone already. I'm ready for a new wave of fighters and new stars.

Now off to bed. Goodnight everyone.

why would he be smiling? i'm sure he's pissed..first he felt he clearly got robbed last fight and bradley got gifted with this decision...2nd he wont get an extra $5-10m had pacquiao won and they fight for the 4th time on november. he might just have to retire now instead

I watched the whole fight. Pacquio pretty much won every single round up until the 9th, and even then it was barely tipped in Bradley's favor. The split-decision was bullcrap. I'm not a fan of either fighter at all, just my honest take on it from outside the box.
