At first I thought you were just misspelling Goran when you slotted Zoran Dragic in as the back-up SG. Turns out Zoran is a real player, and it's Goran's brother.
But back to the OP. So a team with a collective zero all-star appearances on their roster is going to breakout so much next year, they'll be the best team in the league? Yeah...I can get on board with that.

Rockets need a center who can play defense and block shots next to Scola....
Seems like the perfect fit. They dont need anymore offensive firepower just some strong defense in the paint.
Also they should be able to dish out the dough.

Zoran is playing with the Rockets summer camp....And I bet that Goran influences the Rockets into signing Zoran so that he will sign with the Rockets as well.
I think Zoran is a great baller but no doubt Dragic is going to try and use a little leverage here. Also he really likes the rockets organization. And the FO isnt happy with Lowry and Lowry isnt happy with the rockets....
All signs point to him remianing with the rockets.

No great PGS in the draft after Marshall....Think Rivers will be able to play point?
And there is more you can do with the team to make it better....Since you have to trade Lowry and could aslo package in Kevin Martin for a star SG and maybe even a back-up PG if Zoran isnt ready to be the rotation yet so Austin can be moved down to SG.
This team has many options for next season and seems to have a bright future.

Dude just shut the f*ck up. Its clear you don't know what you're talking about. Houston doesn't need a "center who can play defense and block shots". They had two last year and it didn't work out. Scola at this point is big defensive liability. He's an excellent role player but Houston isn't going anywhere with him so might as well trade him. Trade both him and Martin.
Houston needs to either tank or trade for an all-star. 3 consecutive seasons with the 14th pick is enough.

I'm all aboard the Rockets bandwagon! Luis Scola will be the 2012-2013 MVP, he'll be joined by 2-3 other Rockets on the All-Star team, the Rockets will go 67-15 in the regular season, and win the championship with a 16-2 playoff record. OKC and Miami have no chance.

So, you backpedal on an original prediction, thus setting yourself for future backpedals when nothing you're projecting currently comes to fruition. Life as some sort of impulse posting front runner must be highly enjoyable for you to adhere to it so well.

The Rockets have moved up in the draft and now own the No. 12, 16 and 18 picks.
Houston has swapped the 14th pick for the 12th pick with the Bucks while also sending Samuel Dalmbert. The Rockets will also receive Jon Leuer, Jon Brockman and Shaun Livingston.
The Rcokets could save $4.7 million fro their cap if Livingston and Leuer are waived, but a source contends they will keep both players.

The Kings and Rockets have intensified their trade discussions centered around the No. 5 pick, according to sources.
Sacramento wants to wait to see if Thomas Robinson is on the board before a deal is consummated.
Houston is offering Kyle Lowry and multiple picks as they own the 12th, 16th and 18th selections.
The Rockets want to trade Andre Drummond, though it is unclear if they would be selecting him for themselves or in pursuit of Dwight Howard.

I really pray that the Rockets throw in the towel this coming season and tank to get a higher draft pick. This asset accumulation is getting stupid. We have all these "assets" yet nothing has come out of them. The problem is that all these "assets" are ****ing average players who do not have a chance at becoming an all-star. Lowry is probably our best trading chip and even he can't bring in any talent.
Face it Rockets fans, we are ****ing pathetic and no one in their right mind is going to give us a superstar for some average to above average talent. Sadly, we could possibly grab a middle of the road talent, such as Rudy Gay, but where the hell would that take us?

Marcus Thornton could probably be a starter somewhere, and it would probably go over about as well as Kevin Martin as a starter. Nearly identical career FG% and 3PT shooting numbers.
Oddly enough, I'm pretty sure Thornton plays a sixth man role in Sacramento as of late. Team is a clusterf.uck.

Exactly what they did. I guess I just don't like the philosophy of floundering around being a .500 team. I'd rather do a complete rebuild from scratch and go through a couple horrible seasons to try and net an elite player first through the draft.
For example, this draft would of been perfect for Cleveland IMO. They were horrible for a year and landed an elite player through the draft. Now they have to build around him.
