I'm interested by the fact that executives of the ACTUAL TEAMS are seen in seats like that, but Lil Wayne bitches about not getting free front-row seats...

I was thinking the same thing. Before that zoom on Mitch Kupchak, I'm not sure I've ever noticed folks of that ilk sitting amongst opposing fans. I suppose I figured they'd be bench-side or in a suite.

You think Pat reilly can't sit front row if he wanted? He just wants to be in the background. Should sit in one of those VIP boxes though.

Those aren't bad seats though. They're section 114, which is right behind their (the opponent's) bench. It's $585 face value for the bottom half, $285 for the top half, about $1800 market value for the finals.
That's the same place I was for the Lakers game and the Spur's game (I was sitting in front of the former Spurs 6'11 Aussie center whose name escapes me right now) . So they are somewhere in this section. Problem for opposing teams is, 14,000 of the 18,203 seats in the arena are season tickets so there isn't just pockets of seats available from the box office you can just put them in.
They have to get on the secondary market place (stubhub, ebay, craigslist which BTW is RAPE right now because of afformentioned supply/demand) just like everyone else. Even Stern doesn't sit court side when he comes. Here is a pic I took during the WCFs from that same section. This guy writes for Grantland with Bill Simmongs, think his name is Charles or Carles.

They are like people watching celebrities. They aren't sports fans. Real NBA fans would have had other teams that they liked and wouldn't just jump ship. I can understand women and kids, but any man that is an OKC fan is, actually, not a man at all.

As loud and exciting as everyone says it is. We stand up probably 75% of the game and the decibel level, last I heard it objectively measured with 2 seasons ago when they did so in the 1st rd series against the Lakes and that was 125db which is louder than a jet engine and the loudest in the NBA since the Kings. It's considerably louder now. Comparatively, I was at game 4 of the Semis in Dallas and they don't even stand up through player intros and started mass filing for the exits as soon as we took the lead (on that Westbrook steal from Dirk then pass to Ibaka for the dunk).
Even if the Thunder lose on our homefloor, the fans are staying til the buzzer and going to give a standing ovation for at least 15 minutes as they walk off the floor. I remember Russ and JG looking like they were about to cry as they looked around at the crowd still giving it up for them after they loss.
If they win, certainly that will be the case but be much more lively and celebratory than "thank you" in tone. If they close it our or lose in Miami, both of which are unlikely, literally 1000s go to the airport hanger and stand outside and chant and cheer it up from the other side of the fence and the players and coaches all come by the fence and dance and dap everyone up through the chain link. I've never been to an airport welcome back though. I like over an hr from OKC and obviously these always occur at like 4am
