Must have been weird for the NBA players to use it. I wonder how many 3pt attempts they had.

I knew this fact and hoped that, now that I had seen this title, they had been wrong and that the entire game did exist - I wanted to see the Dr.J play. But, alas, it's a 2012 thread. :(

Mikan's ABA invented the 3 point line.
The Three Point Line was created in the short lives ABL which began in 1961.

It featured former and future NBA stars like Connie Hawkins, Bill Bridges, Dick Barnett, George Yardley and Neal Johnston.
