Predictions? Same old story 7th seed probably. Woodsons a good coach I like his style, he holds players accountable and lets them hear it when they screw up. My impression of him is that the players look at him (for lack of a better word) as an OG; he seems like a former street guy who the players can relate to rather than a "good ol boy" used car salesman type like DAntoni. Hes a great coach for iso players and has excellent defensive schemes. Lin will NOT flourish under him though which is a shame because Lin could be a nice player under a coach with a point guard friendly offense.

Anyway id run the Knicks differently if i were there. Stat needs to go, the Chandler signing although brought us to a certain level also handicapped us from signing a true 3rd star. Were locked in with this team with no way to improve

However this Miami team is much better than the flawed pairing of Hardaway & Mourning. This season it was POSSIBLE, not probable.

Any chance of an upset died when Lin went out, Shump killed his knee, Davis got injured, Chandler played with the flu first 2 games, Amare's incident, Jeffries injuries, refs raping the Knicks on most calls.

Knicks probably weren't a chance of winning more than 2 games but when only one of your starting 5 is 100% the whole series and 3 key bench players are out it makes it hard to compete with a better team that was 100% healthy at that point.
