I'm aware that there's a video game forum, but my virginity has been taken and you can't not have it to get it there ( can't not have? ) I just don't wanna go to the video game forum guys. I JUST DON'T WANNA

Anyway, who were some players that you used to use that would piss off your friends that were no good in real life.

I'd play NBA '06 with the Cavs and sub in J.R. Bremer

http://cdn4.faniq.com/images/photos/photo_large/28/18001428-2252.jpg

This guy would ice threes from half court like nothing..

Ilgauskas was awfully damn good at blocking too. You could jump from a foot in the three point and just slap Tim Duncan's shots right off the backboard like no big deal.

Yao could also hit 3's WTF?

I remember in the old NBA Live games Jeff Hornecek would not miss a f*cking 3 ever. The CPU would be wet with him. I'd be up by 9, Jeff would shoot three 3s and just whoop my ass.

Also in the NBA Live games when Chris Webber joined the Kings he couldn't hit a 15 foot jumper to save his life. I'm like WTF he hits these all the time. I'd be wide open and brick it. I remember Vin Baker knocking 3s down against me. I would throw my remote on the floor in disgust,

Shoot, all the way up till about 2k10, as long as you knew the controls and what players were capable of, you could beat the Celtics with say the Kings no problem. Its better now, you actually have to know how to score against certain defenses and defend against certain offenses. If only they could get the ratings system correct, it would be perfect.

Sefolosha and Shannon Brown in 2k7 couldn't miss from beyond the arc. I had them on my bulls team knocked down 3s all game long against everybody. I think I once had 21 made 3s in a HALF with Brown. Hinrich was unstoppable till like 2k9.

In 2k12 Tyrus Thomas, Andre Blatche, and especially Antawn Jamison do especially well in their first year in an association.

They're all quite similar in 2k12 because they're all bigs who in that game have solid jumpers.

Oh god where do i start. (Note: I didnt buy 2k12 so this is just 2k11 and earlier)

Good-Great players who they make into GODS
- LeBron James
- Brandon Roy
- Kobe Bryant
- Ray Allen
- Andre Iguidoula
- Rajon Rondo
- Dwight within 5 feet of the hoop

Crap-Average players who they make into All Stars
- The entire Raptors team when you play on high difficulties
- Antawn Jamison
- Richard Jefferson
- Wilson Chandler
- In fact, pretty much any bottom-5 team you try to play against on a high difficulty level. Mike James dropped like 38 on me once

i forget what year it was, it was when stromile swift was a rookie. i would always trade for him and after a year or 2, he became as good as tim duncan  i would do it everytime and try to win championships as knicks gm. i remember once i was the 1 seed and simulation had me get swept by the #8 seed :wtf:

i also remember tanking the first 2-3 years so i could get a high draft pick. trade camby and houston for swift and draft picks. it was so easy because i could sim a whole season in like half a day.

this is what i did during the summers after class was over when i should have been looking for a job :kobe:

The 2k franchise has a long list of "cheese" players.

Back in the day juan dixon was insane.

Now days guys like J.R. Smith, Josh Smith, Gerald Greene, & anybody else with a high vertical rating is absolutly unstoppable.

2k's lack of physics in their games makes this possible.

Here's hoping 2k13 takes a step forward from 2k12, and not a step back like they did with 2k12

Vince Carter in NBA Live 2001 was the GOAT. I think that game introduced a mode to play against legends (there were all decade teams and stuff). You'd think Vince was 90's MJ. Dude couldn't miss and would dunk anything from inside 15 feet.

I've only seen him mentioned once, but Shannon Brown always lights me up. More so in 2K11 than 2K12. Every time I played the Lakers he'd go for 30+ and a few times he scored 40+ on me. There was one game in particular that he scored 50 something and made something like 11 or 12 threes on less than 20 attempts.

Kevin Martin is another. He never misses from three and, like Brown, every time I play against him, he drops 30+ with the occasional 40 point game thrown in.

My friend used to always bring this guy off of the reserves when he played with the Denver Nuggets and he was unstoppable. He basically scored at will. I forget which 2k it was, but i'm guessing it was 2K7. Even with Melo and Iverson on the team, this guy was the biggest threat.

Shawn Marion on NBA Live 06 or how i used to call him lil shaqOlajuwonTimDuncanWiltChamberlain.

Grabs every board, dunks on everyone, steals every shot, blocks every shot...

In NBA Live 06, when you were playing against the suns, you were always trying to steal the ball, because if they missed, Marion would grab the offensive board and throw a whirlwind dunk on your entire front court.

I remember the suns missed a shot, i had Kwame Brown, Lamar and third player going for the board, Marion came flying out of nowhere took the board and boom dunk.

Also Ben Wallace with the BS freestyle move, he had power dunker ability, which means he dunks on everyone when inside the paint... I remember a dud dropped 20 on me in a half with BWallace.

Another one is Yao Ming on NBA LIVE 05, he blocks every shot, when Yao is on court you can only take 3s, no way to score on the paint, your only hope is to dribble around until someone gets open, then you pass the ball for the 3.

Others i can remember... Dwight in every NBA 2K game and Steve Nash in NBA live 03, i remember i was winning a game by something like 22 points and Nash by himself got his team back into the game with something like 7 straight 3 pointers.

Demar Derozen in 2k12. I can put up 40 a game on pretty much all dunks.

Obviously LBJ is way overrated. He shouldn't be a 99 if that means he can score from literally everywhere.
durant is unguardable as well but in a more realistic way

if you play 2 seasons into the future john wall is 99 speed/vert/quickness and constantly gets on ball steal's for dunks. Pretty much every guard in 2k12 gets way overrated

Carmelo Anthony in 2K12 is pretty much unguardable. Jumper is automatic from pretty much everywhere on the court, and is unstoppable when he gets to the rim. Doesn't matter if you have three guys coming to block it, he'll adjust in mid-air five thousand times before finally laying it in.

Kobe blowing by defenders and windmill dunking on my entire frontcourt like he's 23 years old again is pretty bullshit too.

Brad Miller on the Kings used to give me the bidness in Live '08. Bucket or foul every time.

I also like how the CPU in the 2K11 lets any PF or C hit a fadeaway up to 20 ft. out as long as its a last second shot. I can't recall how many times guys like Ibaka and Kevin Seraphin hit turn around jumpers near the 3 pt. line with 0.5 left on the clock.

NBA 06 or 07 when the Cavs just signed Larry Hughes. Hughes and LeBron both had 90+ steals and both could do windmill dunks from the free throw line. If you would steal by pressing the right analog stick up or to the side instead of X you could easily rake 10 steals in with both a game.

this one isnt a bad representation or anything but i remember in 2k10 i could just sprint with nash and pullup on the 3pnt line and knock it down pretty much every time. NBA 2K12

I use Blake Griffin. All you have to do is post spin to layup/dunk. I go 20/23 from the field everytime LOL

A little OT but CPU ish that pisses me off...

Dwight Howard - Dream shake into fadeaway 15 footer ? MONEY !!! Box him out ? Dunk Back. Do a layup with him in the paint ? Miss...his on ball D is like a force field that encompasses the whole paint

Kobe Bryant - NEVER misses an open shot. Every time I play him he scores between 36-40 points on 55%+ shooting. One time he score 50 on me...all jumpers and 68% from the field. In the 3rd season of my My Player !!!

Vince Carter - This nigguh is Toronto Raptors caliber VC in 2012 LOL

Baron Davis - Dude is like a career 42% FG shooter...as CPU Never misses a 3

Amare Stoudemire - Mid range god

John Wall - Gets 8 steals a game LOL

Greg Oden - This game makes him I guess a picture of what he could have been. He's healthy...and unstoppable in the paint
