He's going to miss the Olympics but he'll be back for next season. By extremely serious I meant career ending.

Everytime I see a thread title that says BREAKING and Bagelred is the OP, I always know it's some setup for one of his corny-ass jokes.

damn, would have liked to see him go to a contender.

He can still hit the open shot and defend fairly well. Celtics is where I was guessing he would end up, they love old gritty players

Anthony "Tony" Parker is the anti-Greg Oden; he's 37, but he looks like he's about 25...

Unfortunately I didn't get to see his MVP euroleague days. I really liked his game when he was on the raptors though!

Beast of player.

About as classy as it gets. Congrats. I'm assuming with his head on his shoulders, he has stashed away enough money to last him a lifetime.

Thanks for the way you acted when the Cavs were really good and when they were really bad. I respect guys who play and act the same way no matter what the game conditions.

The greatest EuroLeague player from America calling it quits.

Hopefully he's retiring from the NBA so he can go back to Europe and dominate again just to prove to the "haters" that he's still a Euro Beast.

I just heard it on Fox 8 Cleveland news. He hopes to remain in the league as a broadcaster or executive. During his 3 years playing here, he did what he was supposed to do. He was brought in to shoot the 3 and guard 2 guards. Never a big scorer in the NBA but he could shoot it from 3. Very athletic for his age, I will miss him.

When he came back to NBA playing for Raptors, he did look like a poor man's Kobe. Yeah, he was over the hill by then, but he does have his value for years after.

Farewell, Parkerville!
