George Papagiannis

He is the kid that at 7-0 tall, made his debut at 14 years old.

Now, he is supposedly 7-1. He turns 15 in two days.

Actually, he weighed 475 at that time.

His in-shape playing weight is 310. But he had a knee surgery recently, so he has gained some weight back.

Have you ever been to a Greek basketball game or played a pick-up game on a court in Athens like I have? If not, you should do it for the experience alone.

Yes. But I actually prefer the village courts. As far as the arenas go...craziest ones are Aris, PAOK, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos.

I cannot recall exactly what happened in 2006. How did a Greece team that'd only score 47 against Spain drop 100+ the game before? I'm still not sure how the USA ended up believing Kirk Hinrich, Brad Miller, Antawn Jamison and Shane Battier were the correct routes to go.

It wasn't the players fault as much as it was Coach K's fault. They had no half court sets. They thought they could just get after people defensively and run. Greece killed them on the pick and roll and coach K made no adjustments. He waited too long to put the ball into Lebron's hands as well.

I do remember that, now that you mention it. I just couldn't recall if that was Greece or Puerto Rico (both took turns throttling the USA with stunningly predictable, but apparently unstoppable tactics). So strange to watch.

Puerto Rico was 2004. That was coach Brown and the selection of the team which was based for on marketing instead of winning.

2006 they blew everyone out except Greece who schooled them.

There's plenty of worries if Kobe starts gunning. It's not a best of 7. Spain gave them a game in 2008. If not for a horrible start they could have won.

I think you meant to say "have some self discipline." That would equate to not use God's name in vain. If you refer to yourself as having god-like skills, it equates to having a ton of self respect, but still wrongful.
