"This is just the latest in a string of events that have caused many within the Magic organization to grow tired of Howard. Several of Howard

Oh and multiple Magic teammates have pushed for him to be traded too supposedly. Good for them. They got sick of his shit.

Source for this? Also, source for other Magic teammates saying they want him gone?

I think he wanted off a shitty team and has been honest about that from the get-go. I think the constant flip-flopping is mostly made-up monkey shit by the sports media trying to create a story that focuses on a new villain that isn't Lebron James.

There's dozens of stories and dozens of "sources" that just come out with as much shit as they can. None of it falls on the reporters and none of the falls on the sources they made up. It all falls on Dwight, the face they want it to fall on.

Jameer would have beaten the crap out of Howard.

Just a few seasons ago this guy was a Bible-thumper that everyone loved. Now he hangs out with porn stars and his his teammates all hate him. Its like he is trying to ruin his own reputation on purpose. He is going to wipe his ass with the United States flag for an encore

Players have altercations all the time. It's part of the business, nothing huge to read here.

Howard wanted to hit Jameer Nelson in the face but he couldn't decide whether he wanted to throw a hook or a jab.

Speculation of course but I'm guessing Jameer called him out on either his injury or the way he'd been treating the franchise....that's if it were basketball related

Howard's PR guy needs to step up right now. Shits going downhill very fast.

I would be sick and tired of this guy too. He single-handedly ruined team chemistry (not that they were going to go deep in the playoffs anyways) for having a chance to advance past the first round in the playoffs.

It is when it's supposed best friends who are having the altercation. These guys were inseparably close just a couple years ago. I used to go to Magic games all the time. It's sad to see it's come to this. Both of them look to be headed out of town now.

What's so hard to decide? Howard only has one move, a running right jump hook. :confusedshrug:

Can someone confirm if this is a reliable source or not?
Kind of odd since Jameer and Dwight were/are great friends. Idk if I believe it, even if its true I mean players fight all the time, what the big deal?
stan was like a father to jameer.

There's a difference though between a fight and almost coming to blows and having to be separated by teammates. Obviously it wasn't just a little fight either, Jameer opted out of his contract and Dwight is clearly unwanted by the entire team.

Like this wasn't expected. I'd want to knock his ass out too. Dwight has indirectly been telling his teammates "You ain't shit" for like the entire year.

I dont read into this much even if they are/were close friends. We dont even know what its about. Could be something both moved on from and probably laugh about.

There are other things about Dwight that are more telling than this imo. Like the rumor he now wants to be traded. Talented player but damn some of these antics make you question is he really worth it all. Tough.

Haha.... not even indirectly. Dude has FLAT OUT told the media on at least 3 occasions that his teammates need to step up, aren't stepping up, team needs to shake up roster etc. Nothing subtle or indirect.

Then maybe they should step up. I wouldn't want to be there either if I was Dwight

Also, Shaq stated in his book that he had problems with the management in Orlando.. Who's to say it's not the same for Dwight

I really doubt that Howard is as big a primadonna and is as hated as the media wants us to believe, they love stirring up drama. There's two sides to every story

Those are all signs of a weak, poor leader. You call them out out of the media, not in the media and embarrass them. That will turn a team on you quick.

Shaq had problems with the management cause they didn't make him the teams highest paid player. Dwight is just a god damn baby I wouldn't be surprised if he is now one of the least liked players in the league.

It'll be interesting to see how many all-star votes he gets

I'm really interested in this - I wonder who would have won? Nelson is deceivingly strong, and Dwight is a (insert derogatory name here).

It would be classic if these two had a large falling out and management packaged them together to the same team.

I hope for Dwights sake he gets traded from Orlando soon. All these "sources" that are leaking out personal business that makes Dwight look terrible has to be coming from somewhere. I feel Orlando is ruining his character by "leaking" behind the scenes information that no1 should even have. For a guy who has given their team hope and got them to the finals, its awful the way things have ended up between them.

Not sure if this is true, but Id punch Nelson multiple times already for being such a below-average passer if I were Dwight.

I wonder if Dwight had a huge smile on his face? Or if he had a pouty face like the ref just t'ed him up? other than that, his only facial expression is a blank look on his face

Broussards sources said he was smiling, he would pop Jameers head off his shoulders with a headlock and a little flex

It is clear that Dwight wants to play with a good PG, which could easily make Jameer feel slighted. I'm thinking if it is basketball related, it has something to do with that.

I think there's more to it then them being best friends and teammates so its normal for them to fight. Dwight's been complaining that he doesn't get the ball enough for years and has been campaigning to get himself somewhere that he can play with a better PG. The fact that Jameer and him were best friends makes that fact even worse. And apparently Jameer and SVG were close. Its also no wonder that Jameer is opting out of a contract that he'll get paid more then he'll ever get annually again.
