i suppose you refer to the european countries as top 4
but only 3 will make the olympics
and puerto rico and the dominicans might be dangerous too

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Bo isn't really Macedonian and he wasn't good enough to get into the NBA but now he's the GOAT in Macedonian basketball history. lmao

Why didn't Motiejunas make the team? He played well in the games I saw of his this season.

Songaila has really declined hard. This Lithuanian team is quite a bit stronger than last year's though with Maciulis and especially Kleiza.

Motiejunas couldn't join because of contract problems. He had no contract at the time and did not wanted to risk to get injured...Contracts signing for rookies started July 1st I think. Not taking both Lavrinovics will hurt as well.

One bad game by any of those and there could be no olympics for them. That would be huge hit to Lithuanian basketball, we made top4 in every olympics since we got independant (and won one for russians before that).

So he's coming to the NBA this season?

Also I'm surprised at the inclusion of Delininkaitis and Dulkys over Gecevicius. Delininkaitis isn't very good and Dulkys was a role player on a decent NCAA but he's not ready to be a contributor at this level yet.

Yes hes coming, there is rumor that he might get traded to New Orleans tho, because rockets wants Eric Gordon badly.

Dulkys got hyped for some reason a lot in Lithuania this summer and I agree with you, he's just gonna be a bench player. But Delininkaitis is better than Gecevicius. Delininkaitis is better at creating his own shot, is worse defender but none of them is a good defender anyways. Delininkaitis is in the best shape he ever was I think.

Gecevicius should of taken Dulkys spot, it's better to have more experienced player for those couple of minutes.

FYR Macedonia for example is very capable of qualifying.

Maybe even teams like Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic, although less likely I think.

Who are your favorites to qualify then if it isn't those 3? I know Macedonia CAN get in, but most likely end up short, same as Puerto Rico and DR. Anyways can't wait for USA to pis$ on Greece once again in the Olympics.

Nigeria really blew that game. They had the clear talent and athletic advantage over Venezuela but their wild play and dumb shots cost them the game. Grievis Vasquez was amazing in this game and this guy named Cratermol played well too.

Ibakwe from Nigeria was really impressive.

Apparently John Cox on the Venezuelan team is Kobe's first cousin.

You gotta be joking, Angola has no game at all, all they did was shoot 3s, and luckily for them they made pretty much all of them. Our defense was pathetic, there was no energy at all. Not sure if the players are exhausted or they fell under pressure, again.
Gotta win against NZ tonight
