Yeah. The Suns FO seems to have begin listening to me that it's time for rebuilding.

I didn't want to be stuck cheering for 2 teams (Raptors and Suns) that just sit in mediocrity for a very extended period of team.

I hope that Gordon comes here, and would really like to see Dragic as well. Even though I know Dragic loves Phoenix, I don't have much faith at all that he'll be in that #2 uniform again anytime soon.

I think it'll always bother me that he got traded...

I don't know man. Jarrett Jack is a B rated PG like Lowry/Conley and put up 16/6 and 1.5 spg. Then you throw in an extremely hyped, defensive anchor type rookie, Austin Rivers and the couple decent role players with a healthy Eric Gordon? They basically let go of their only proven role players beyond Jack. (Ariza, Okafor, Kaman, Marco, Landry)

Their goal is to have a young core in place but they are still going to be bad enough to get another Lottery Pick in there. That's a smart move for the future. But you gotta remember that Davis & Rivers are still teenagers. The recent NBA Draft hype makes people forget that for the most part it's going to take some time before they are adjusted to the NBA.

Maybe Gordon realizes it's still a "rebuilding" process and as the highest paid guy on the team he's going to take a lot of blame for their struggles. For the most part the casual NBA fans think Davis should be their "Franchise player".

But Phoenix? :lol

That's assuming that the Suns don't continue to make moves... even if the Suns sign Gordon they will still have plenty of room to make moves, especially if they amnesty Childress. There's talks of sign and trades of Nash that can continue to help them make other moves. The Suns already stated they have interest in OJ Mayo and Super Cool Beas, and clearly have interest in getting Dragic back as well. They have a chance to put together a decent squad by the end of the offseason if they play their cards right.

Maybe just me, but I don't see what's so outrageous about giving EJ a 4 year/58 million dollar contract. Which is a little over 14.5 mil a year. Overpaid? Yeah but IF the guy is healthy, he probably deserves 11-13 mil based on how he did this season and stats from previous seasons.

Unproven in what regards? He's proven he is efficient for the stat geeks. FG%, 3pt%, FT%. Last two season he has avg 20ppg, 18ppg for a career. He has range. He's a volume scorer, he's undersized and he hasn't developed on D.

Basically he's a young Ben Gordon at this point and he's injury prone. 0 reason to give him max money

Developed? He's a better defender than he has ever been. Undersized has nothing to do with being unproven. He proved at his size he can flat out score on anyone (much bigger than him at that). He's not Ben Gordon. Retarded comparison.

So you listed injury prone. A stating the obvious thing there. But thanks for showing how he is still unproven. Atleast attempting too and not doing a good job that is.

He spent his summers growing up in PHX with his dad, there's probably a lot of great memories for him there. Can't blame him for wanting to play where his hearts at, sadly piece of shit New Orleans is gonna get in the way.
