Me too....

Our buddies have always been Minny and the Rockets. We all know everyone else hates us to death so we too fvck them hard when we can and we have done so. Occasionally we deal with the Mavs, Jazz and Grizz, Clipps...

Should cement the mentality that a good Phoenix fan is a dead one.

Why would you trade Steve Nash to a legitimate playoff contender IN the same division as you? I dont see how that makes much sense. Use some common sense people damn.

I guess its that bad karma. Orlando don't want to deal to Lakers because of the the way Shaq left, owners don't want CP3 in Lakers because they don't want to give Lakers anything easy as they usually get with the fact of them being the mighty Los Angeles Lakers while Phoenix just don't want to trade him to their rival because of all those years of them getting beat by them.

If you're as good as Lakers have been, things won't come easy.

Everyone trading with us thinks we're trying to rip them off and unless it's a bulletproof win for the them they just won't trade. Besides, the pool of talent from the East is always crappy in terms of service guys... The goodies are always locked and restricted.

Same reason Clippers dealt Mo Will to Utah instead.Yeah but the clippers will actually be competing with the lakers for the division title the suns wont. I get the whole rivalry thing but what does it matter if the suns wouldn't be competing anyway. They could've at least got some picks out of it.

:facepalm I'm saying in how the teams avoid trading to a division rival to make that team better... Lakers and Clippers were within a game of each other in the standings. Last thing the Clippers front office wants to do is improve the Lakers even further. Nothing about my comment was comparing Nash and Williams  .

There is no but. Why would Phx Suns fans want to see a beloved player like Nash who still is productive go to a division rival that is close to being back in the NBA Finals? In fact one of the needs is PG and you give them a top 10 PG. What sense does that even make? What sense does it make to say because Suns wont be competiting it doesnt matter if they give Nash to L.A. Ummm yes it does. Its common sense. Teams tend to not give rivals an advantage regardless. What makes things different because the Lakers are involved?

You think the Sixers would deal with the Celtics or Knicks?

The Suns owner blocked the trade. All trades must go through the team owner before being submitted to the league for approval.
The Suns have no reason to trade Nash within the division. It's ludicrous.

I agree. This makes about as much sense as Raja Bell turning down the Lakers back in '09, cuz he's still has "beef" with Kobe. Only to have them win titles in the next 2 years without him. With or without Nash, they Suns AREN'T a title team anyways. Rivalry is one thing, absolute stupidity is another.:facepalm

lol its not like Suns & lakers are competing for the division title....

there is a difference between a classy organization such as lakers and the b1tch a$$ organization like phoenix suns....for who nash made millions

Odom asked for a trade and lakers asked for him which team he would prefer...he said Mavs and they traded him to Mavs..oh ya they are in the same conference as them and to get to WCF they knew they had to go through the Mavs...but being a classy organization and respecting what Odom had done for them...they traded him to the Mavs....read the news before asking me....oh this how it happened???

I thought I heard that he was going to re-sign right around the draft.

I'm pretty sure the Suns want to keep him around and maybe try to lure him into a job for the Suns after he retires in a year or whatever. That's just my speculation.

We should call Dan Gilbert up and get him to trade us Irving and their recent draft pick (I have no idea what his name is) for Artest. We could use "Beat the Heat" as a selling point.

Laker Fans here are actually shocked that other teams don't want to give up their best Players for nothing. Damn, that Gasol "trade" really set their "entitlement" levels to new highs.

Sure the suns are their division rivals but the suns are REBUILDING. They will never play us in the playoffs again. It'll be years. They need picks not shitty players. They need a franchise player. nobody on the lakers thinks the suns are our competition right now lol.

Its just butthurt, but its okay, I knew we werent getting him

regardless people not laker fans can agree it sucks to see trades being closed down not because of bad deals but because owners are like children on the playground and stay upset. Eventually your team will get screwed over the same way
