Euroleague

Well, that's it for those of us that still believed in real basketball, and not the "sports entertainment" of the NBA and it's ridiculous rules.

Now the malignant cancer has spread to the Euroleague.........

Euroleague has always been a shitty minor league system for the NBA, now at least you'll be able to judge talent more accurately.

My thoughts exactly. Now Hollinger won't need some complicated formula to project NBA stats.

The NBA is barely even ever on TV in Europe.

Minor leagues have Anthony Parker win 2 MVPs and also have a statue built for him.

Minor leagues (NBA) make Anthony Parker a 6 year starter, years after his prime and when he is in his mid 30s and could not even draw interest from Euroleague teams.

Well, most kids dream about playing in the NBA because of Jordan and such. But top EL team means load of money, easier schedule, you're closer to home (if you're European), etc...

They are changing to NBA court, NBA jump ball rules, NBA way of refs calling games and interpreting fouls (vomit), changing to make everything designed to help the offense and the scorers like the NBA (gag), and changing to the NBA travel rules (which is a freaking damn disgrace).

After that, the other rules that need to be changed will be decided upon by the actual executive committee.

Just Euroleague. FIBA has no say in the Euroleague's rules. Although most of the European national leagues will probably follow what the Euroleague does. But each national league has its own idea of how to ref the games.

Insofar as basketball is followed in Europe, and there are different sports over here with "soccer" (football) being the largest, NBA is clearly recognised as the the big league.

In Britain (admittedly an English speaking state) people don't care about the national leagues or the Euroleague they care about the NBA, and Slam is available in reasonable sized newsagents.
