Will give it to Bron..although he should have breezed through the East, not like we expected less. Game 6 Boston was however a game to remember, at least of him and as long as I can remember Bird, the Jordans, the Shaqs and the Duncans + the Hakeems and Kobe are taken. I'll probably put Dirk at 13.

ShaqAttack3234

Was going to go with either '77 Walton or '02 Shaq, but I forgot about '87 Magic.

So I'm voting for '87 Magic. He took his game to the next level that year. He wins a title in his first year as the man on the team.

26.2 ppg, 8 rpg, 13 apg, 2.2 TO, 2.3 spg, 54.1 FG% in the finals.

21.8 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 12.2 apg, 2.8 TO, 53.9 FG% in the entire playoffs.

He could control a game so much offensively then since he became a very good scorer both with a reliable outside shot, the ability to take it to the basket since he was still quick for his size and the ability to post up and score or draw a double team.

Very tough call, but gotta go with '87 Magic.

The fact that Lebron gets 12 is feckin' stupid. In no way shape or form is he outside the top 10.

Kobe has 1 vote in 9th and then gets more than Lebron who almost beat Bird for 9th?

I give it to Chauncey.

Because its such a tragedy that the greatest runs by some of the goat players are arguably better. Which ones are glaringly worse?

I haven't seen anything from tha year other than a full gme vs the Knicks in the regular season and the second half of game 4 of the finals, but I'm convinced that it isn't even Kareem's best season. His numbers declined quite a bit in the playoffs, and this may be because he wasn't as complete of a player as later.

His best season was '77, imo, followed by probably '74, which are also his 2 best playoff runs along with 1980.

Kareem added more moves to his arsenal in the mid 70's, and became a better paas well as stronger physically. And he even said in '77 that he had been guarded 1 on 1 almost exclusivey his first 4-5 years, and that he was doubled and tripled constantly by '77.

If you guys who voted for Lebron are Lebron fans then out of respect you should not vote for him at all..... he doesnt deserve having a HORRIBLY LESSER playoff run being above than not just over his playoff run but 71 Kareem, Moses 83, Jordan 98, 86 Bird, 87 Magic, 69 West etc..... if you can live with that, then go ahead....

Let see what ya'll haters managed to troll away out of the top 10 in Lebron's 2012:

- Highest ppg since Jordan 1998. One of the the best.
- 2nd highest rpg by a perimeter player after Magic.
- Highest apg by a non point guard trailing only Jordan.

And all of this was made in one playoff run.

Great job ISH, great effort.

Yeah they were.

There is a difference between a wish and a fact...

Lets take your pick for example 87 Magic..

87 Magic vs 12 Lebron:

Lebron performed much better on both ends:

Lebron - 30/10/6 (30.3 PER) + DPOY/1st all-defensive level defense
Magci - 22/8/12 (26.2 PER)

Lebron had much worse teammates (infact the difference is ridicilous):

Lebrons supporting cast in playoffs - 64.6 PPG - 30.6 RPG - 12.1 APG - 5.2 BPG - 4.2 SPG
Magics supporting cast in playoffs - 98.8 PPG - 37.2 RPG - 16.2 APG - 6.2 BPG - 5.7 SPG (that was Heats numbers WITH Lebron)
Lebron had 3 guys in double figures
Magic had 5 guys in double figures (actually Worthy led them in scoring, the guy that won the FMVP after this one)

These guys could probably beat Miami Heat without Magic...

:confusedshrug:

So what is the criteria/agenda you could possibly going after here? Tell me? It seems your sympathy for oldschool bball is blinding you from appreciating the present school basketball... mr oldschoolbasketball...

But dont worry, you didnt vote for 12 Lebron so i like that, i dont want anybody to vote for him, he doesnt deserve to be under lesser playoff runs.... he deserves only to be at the bottom behind Billups and so on... so people understand the irony of this thread (its not entirely a knock on you Deuce, but the Kobetard infestation in this forum)...

Why aren't you counting the Chauncey Billups votes? You seriously have no legitimacy now. These threads all mean shit if you don't count all the votes.

Let the jimmies rustle right through you, Dunce.

Walton's '77 and Shaq's '02 run are better than Malone's '83 run.

What??? He didn't even lead his own team in win shares in the playoffs.

Did you see the last years playoffs? If you are looking at Dirk`s and Lebron`s playoff runs WITHOUT numbers, which one do you think was more dominant?
So 2012 Lebron or 2011 Dirk.

I can't create gifs. Simple photos are fine.

But I didn't make this exact one.. just picked it out of LelBron's imgur account (http://imgur.com/a/eDIgU#33).
