Should I put him under "dasher/slasher"?

Mr Know It All
07-06-2012, 04:44 PM
If you think Vince Carter was just a dunker in his prime you never watched him play. Absurd.

Rest of the list is pretty stupid as well. And why the colors? Trying to give me a headache?

Mr Exlax

Should I put him under "dasher/slasher"?

He used to be a playmaker. Remember he used to run the offense before Lebron got there. He used to be an elite defender as well.

I'll cross him off the list.

Dude, that's okay. Pretty much everyone is an all-around player. But he is an abnormal slasher. He is more than elite at that. And yet, he is shit at shooting. While being a SG. Put him somewhere.

Vince Carter just a dunker :biggums:

He's a career 37.5% 3pt shooter and has arguably the best range on his perimeter shot of any player. Of course guys like him, McGrady, and Arenas were stupid enough to take 3pters from 3 feet behind the arc, but they still made it.

And of course his athleticism allowed him to do other things. One dimensional, he was not.

Also, wasn't that good in the 2nd half.

Definitely Reggie Miller.

And many of the people on the list are not one dimensional. Carmelo for instance...he's a great shooter, post player, and ball handler (and a good rebounder too).

WADE. Only elite SG who can't shoot.

Apparently you have no idea what "one-dimensional" means. Prime Wade was an elite scorer/slasher AND an elite perimeter defender.

Anyway, this thread is stupid. OP has way too many players on his list that aren't or weren't one-dimensional.

2007 playoffs. He also probably choked in the 2002 playoffs too in the 4th/OT/Clutch situations but he definitely choked in 2007 and it was the only time he was favorite to win a playoff series and get past the 1st round.

How is that one dimensional though? Isn't one dimensional, you know... a player with only one dimension.

If he rebounds and plays D at a very high level... Well how many dimensions is that?
