did Lithuania qualify?
They are trying to. If they beat Dominican Republic today they are in. Otherwise, they have to beat the loser from another match to get in.

Ibaka's Spanish??

no pun intended

Ibaka's Spanish??
Yup. Lived out his teenage years there.

Ibaka's Spanish??

He's Congolese but he spent his formative years in Spain. He's naturalized, and man if they had Rubio that squad would be silly! They are already actually. Should be a fun tournament.

Do people actually give a shit about the Olympics?

I honestly couldn't give two shits about it. The Dream Team was cool, and I watched most of the 2000 only to see my man, Vince, dunk.. But I seriously think they should stop sending NBA players and go back to sending college kids.. Nobody gives a shit and it'll be less embarrassing when you lose.

He'll be the 3rd string point guard. He's got until 2014 until he's automatically eligible. He'll be a really solid point guard whether it be for a high level European team or the NBA.

Group B: China, Great Britain, Brazil, Australia, Russian, Spain

Huge win by Nigeria over Dominican Republic to get the last spot. Ike Diogu and Al Farooq Aminu were huge. Interested to see how their athleticism matches up with USA. But I'm sure USA will blow them out by 15 or more

France cut Kahudi and replaced him with Yakhouba Diawara.

Belgium just upset France 63-57 in France. Really bad loss for them...they're not looking like threats for a medal without Noah and a not 100% Parker.

Spain beat France again, this time on the road.

Pau Gasol lead Spain with 22/10, Ibaka had 16/10, and Victor Claver had 10.
Kevin Seraphin had 12 to lead France and Parker had 11.

Apparently Rudy Fernandez and Mickael Gelabale got ejected for throwing punches at each other. :lol
