It is more like you are overrating Zeke. He was an inconsistent and inefficient player for the most part. He gets far more credit than he should in those '89-'90 titles.

He is still easily a top 5 PG of all-time though but 2nd PG of all-time and above Oscar? No way.

Career averages of almost 20/10 on one of the best defensive teams of all times, great defender, and one of the best competitors of all times. Remember 25 3rd quarter points against Lakers with sprained ankle??? Thats a NBA record!

Averaging 28/7/5 he was the FMVP vs Portland, including 16 points in the 4th of game 1 rallying the Pistons from 10 points down with 7 mins remaining.

In '87 against Hawks he scored 24 in a quarter. Jordan nor any great never did that.

In '84 against Knicks he scored 16 points in 4th of the deciding game 5.

He was one of the best postseason performers.

In '85 he limited Jordan to 2-9 FG in 22 mins in an all star game.

He is one of the most underappreciated players just because he played on Bad Boys Pistons who were the most hated team. It was all about Jordan/Bird/Magic trio at the time, and people were looking at the Pistons as a team that was destroying the beauty of the game.

I'll let you do some research, and list his supporting cast.

Horatio, blaming great players, who play great, for their TEAM's failures. Obviously MJ was a flop in '86 and '87, as well. Players like Westbrook and Rose could have averaged 37 ppg in their regular seasons, and 40 ppg in their post-seasons, and probably had more playoff success, since Jordan's TEAMs went 0-6 in those two post-seasons.

Yep. Just anyone can LEAD the NBA in scoring AND apg at the same time. Go ahead and give me that list while you are it.

Not enough of these lists have Chauncey "Mr. Big Shot" Billups. Dude in his prime was unparalleled, check out the thread "Top Run my a Finals MVP in History", Billups is about to crack the top 12 in NBA HISTORY. He could shoot the lights out, he could run a team singlehandedly and in his prime his clutch #'s are something that no one in NBA history could come close to.

In what universe does Nash have more career accomplishments than Stockton?

2 unbreakable all-time records, in the stats you most want out of a PG >>>>>>>>>>>> 2 MVPs

Losing twice in the Finals to the GOAT and arguably the GOAT team >>>>>>>>>>>>>> never even getting to the Finals

And don't get me started on Kidd. Yes, he has a ring, but in his washed up twilight years. So does Payton, but you rank him below Stock and Kidd above. So what's your criteria?

Never mind the list; I'd rather focus my post on asking why he deserves to drop due to his failed stint with the Lakers.

Nash had already been on his last legs by the time he arrived to the Lakers, and that final layer shattered in his second game with the Purple & Gold. It goes without saying that he hasn't been the same since, as that injury has effectively ended his career.

Yes, the Nash experiment was completely fruitless with him in the end, but it's far from quintessential of his career's body of work when he was a shell of himself. IMO, players can only take a hit legacy-wise if they underachieve the expectations of someone of their ranking; that wasn't the case here in the eyes of most, as many would argue that he was meeting expectations just by continuing to play at that age while injury-decimated.
