Why do some think Thunder is a stack team?

i hear ppl always saying the Thunder is loaded, or the roster is stacked.

but ok KD is a superstar but like someone just made a thread, all he can do is shoot. Westbrook is a very good individual offense player but he doesnt even set guys up like hes supposed to always, but even if you say ok they have two really good players...

after that who is it?James Harden? overrated. Serge Ibaka? are people using serge ibaka to claim the thunder is stacked? and thabo sefalosha and nick collison? those guys are both really nice to have for role players but please dont tell me they make a roster 'stacked'

oh and then Perkins, rite? maybe the most over paid contract inthe game.

mark my words, the thunders run to the finals is equivalent of the magic's run a few years ago. they were a good team taking advantage of a bit of a down yr in the conference. they wont make it back as constructed i bet.

only 3 thunder players can get their own shots. the rest of that team can be decent if the 3 set them up for points. but defensively, they should be a lot better. i guess having no answer for lebron and forced to double will leave shooters open.

i guess their 3 being who they are, will only get better and so should they. i wouldnt necessarily call them stacked.

I think the team is stacked, but they're not quite a super team. I say stacked because look at the number of positions that they have top 5 or 10 talent.

C - Perkins top 5 or 10 maybe?
PF - Ibaka top 10 or close to it
SF - Durant 2nd
SG - Harden top 5
PG - Westbrook top 5

Perkins very good defender Serge Ibaka okay defender great shot blocker good mid range game, Harden top 6-8 SG good playmaker shooter and driver. Westbrook maybe the best player listed at PG and Durant third best in the league. Then u got Sefolosha a elite perimeter defender, Nick Collison very good rebounder and defender and ofcourse Derek Fisher GOAT pg.

Thunder are top heavy. Not taking away anything from durant westbrook and harden, because those guys are only gonna get better.

Top three superstar, top five point guard, top shot blocker, great interior defense, relatively strong bench, solid head coach.

The only reason the Thunder aren't better is because they're like the Clippers. They don't play to their strengths, at least not as much as they should. Their offense is a glorified And 1 contest. If they figure out how to play as a team, they'll be the favorites to come out of the West.

Hopefully you get the point by now. Add that to being a solid rebounder and good defender and you get someone that does a lot more than "just shoot".

Also, it's not Westbrook's role on the team to play point guard like John Stockton. Brooks tells him to score, so that's what he does.
