The thread says about current players, not all-time or during their primes. I liked the way Wade played when he was with Shaq but I can't stand his style of play post-Shaq especially with LeBron. I can't stand Kobe post-2010 either. I loved the way Kobe played in his prime though but it's done with.

I liked the way Tmac played in Orlando too but outside of '01-'03, I can't stand him.

Why is there more hate on Wade than Dwight?
Because Wade is annoying on and off the court whereas Howard is only annoying off the court. When this whole Dwight situation is done, people are going to quickly forget just like how it was with Kobe about 6 years ago when he asked for a trade. Howard's hate and dislike will be more so temporary more than anything.

It's too hard to narrow down my 5 favorite players but these guys came to mind.

I love seeing super specific least favorite players. Like somebody hating Andrew Bogut or Jonny Flynn.

Favorites:

1] Eric Gordon - Dude is undersized, but makes up for it with his strength, wingspan and effort. Amazing offensive repertoire.

2] Steve Novak - Sure Shot Steve is the best pure shooter in the L, period. I dislike the crappy nickname Knick 'fans' have given him though.

3] Terrance Ross - Yet to play a NBA game, but I'm really high on him, hoping he can make it big in the L.

4] Marresse Speights - Likes to jaw and get under his opponents skin, has a sweet midrange jumper too.

5] Jrue Holiday - Went to Campbell High School in North Hollywood, my home town. Saw him play live, was amazed by his skills in high school.

HM: Quentin Richardson, Tyler Honeycutt, Zach Randolph, David Ebanks, Chris Kaman, Matt Barnes, James Singleton, Shawn Marion, Greg Monroe.


Mike Taylor would be #1 on my list, but currently not on a team.

Least Favorite (most due to stans):

1] Andre Miller - Destroyed the young and entertaining (though non-producing) Clipper squad of Quentin Richardson, Elton Brand, Lamar Odom, Keyon Dooling & Corey Maggette. Can consider Miles as well due to being dealt for him.

2] Corey Maggette - Talked so much shit after signing with the Warriors when he was Sterling's favorite player and Sterling reportedly favored him more than any other player in history. Joined the Warriors and stunk it up before being dealt to the Bobcats and passing the ball to a Clipper player in a game this past season.

3] James Harden - The overration by the stans, calling him a top 5 shooting guard. Dude is more glorified than Joe Johnson was during the Suns era, though I'd take JJ from those days over the current Harden since JJ played some defense.

4] Baron Davis - Signed with the Clippers and promised to the get them into the playoffs, before proceeding to give 10% effort and hurting his back by just standing up. Set the franchise back (yes, that was possible) more than Elton Brand did.

5] Louis Amundson - No talent, but tries to start something with everybody he possibly can. Mo Speezy at least has some talent.

I can understand the KG hate on here, Rondo too. But damn, didnt know so many people dislike Pierce. I love his game, but he's one of two guys whose facial expressions and demeanor just crack me up. I don't know how many times my buddy (Lakers fan) and I look at each other and crack up laughing when the camera shows him reacting to a call or play. Tony Allen's the other one, wish we kept that guy.

Russell Westbrook - Real mvp of the thunder, doesn't shy away from big moments and wants the ball (refreshing in this day and age).
LeBron James - Great player, can get streaky at times shooting the ball, and perhaps not as athletic as his cavaliers days, but still very fun to watch when he's on.
Ty Lawson/ Taj Gibson/ Darren Collison/ Manu Ginobili/ too many to name


Least Favs:

Midgets (under 6'3) that cant shoot (Rondo for example)
Role player small forwards that can't defend or shoot (Too many to list)
Centers that don't put much effort on defense (Bynum)
Players that just seek contact (Chalmers, Bosh, Wade, Maggette, Harden, CP3 - outside of Maggette, I really like all of them as players.. nothing personal of course.)
Players that consciously protect their FG% and 3pt% as well as padd their stats.. one of them is in my fav list.

This isn't a malicious hate or anything, just a style of play I don't like.
