That point was stressed over and over to Pingalore. The sources went as far to say "follow the money," adding "The Lakers are a big market team that needs a player as global as Dwight Howard."

It's the point that both Shaq and Dwight have been centres on the Magic, led their team to the finals but were unable to get the job done, then jumped ship to LA. Their stories do sound awfully similar, but I really don't have much respect for Dwight if this is the real reason as to why he wants to leave.
