Summer league means little to nothing, especially for bigs. This is a guard dominated event. The players with the ball in their hand are trying to get jobs and they aren't looking to make the 5th pick in the draft look good. They care about their own asses.

For example, Jerryd Bayless averaged 30 PPG in summer league. He dominated. In the NBA? He hasn't done sh*t.

Head has been garbage ? In his first game, his statline was similar to MKG. But Head wasn't happy about his while MKG just went along with it. Not the same drive.

I remember the first Heat game of the 2008 summer league.. It was the Heat vs Bulls. Michael Beasley had like 30 and was laughing on the court while doing so, and Mario Chalmers outplayed Derrick Rose, who looked awful. People were saying (including me) how this was clear evidence that Beasley should have been the #1 pick and some (like me) were saying that Chalmers could likely end up being as good or better of a PG than Rose.

This is just another example of how you can't read too much into summer league games, especially only one or two of them.
