If we can count college analysts as well, Doug Gottlieb (I know he played in college and in numerous leagues across the world, though never NBA). He balled in the celebrity game one of these past two years, the guy has a nice looking jumper.

He also led the nation in assists one or two times at Oklahoma State.

Another vote for Gottlieb. He took the celebrity game very seriously.

steven a. smith

Stephen A. Smith came to Winston-Salem State University planning to make a name for himself as a basketball player under the tutelage of the legendary Clarence "Big House" Gaines. A knee injury and a suspect jump shot, according to Coach Gaines, shelved his quest for stardom.
