it's basically the same team + Joe Johnson
I doubt JJ can really help you win that many more games. he sucks tbh

How about a full year of GWall, a ridiculous back court of DWill and JJ, and a healthy Lopez... you don't think that will be better than Dwill playing by himself most of last season?

nope. I think it's going to be one of those teams that is overhyped in the offseason than tank during the season
Lopez: good offense, no defense, no rebounding. nets sucked with him all this time
Wallace: on the tail end of his prime, not a go to guy or a shut down defender. nothing special
JJ: nuff said, disappears during playoffs, not a star
DWill: Not a take team off of his back type of guy. will go off for 40+ pts 2 or 3 times a season. not a superstar
6th seed at best

They retained a whopping four players from their roster last season an one of them has only been there for less than half of a 66 game season.
oh the horror

Im sorry but 6th seed? Have you seen the eastern conference dude? Its BAD.
Chicago is done for a good while so count them out.
JJ doesnt need to be a star anymore. I feel like that was the issue in ATL...Dude is NOT the "man" on any squad. This is what Deron Williams is for. I feel like perhaps the pieces, if a good fit...can produce more than each of them can on their own.
They wont be 1st or 2nd seed or anything...but they arent going to be 6th either....Barring no major injuries, they should be able to make a little noise.
UNFORTUNATELY JJ's contract also cripples the shit out of them.

Miami and Boston should be. After that I dont see why they can't be right in the thick of it.

D-Will was arguably the best PG before he came to Nets. He's been playing with a lack of motivation ever since.

D-Will should really show what he's got this season. I mean, its not an overwhelming roster, but they have an elite backcourt elite offensively and potentially defensively, the perfect SF for that backcourt in Gerald Wallace who can also defend and rebound move without the ball and never needs a play called for him. The Frontcourt is above average but nothing truly special, but will be able to score the basketball.
Depending on what other pieces the Nets could add from the bench, I could see the Nets being a middle of the pack Eastern team, but no more than a second round team, if not a first round exit. I don't think Deron could take them any further than that.

We need to get the neg back

They've added Lopez, Wallace and Johnson, guys who didn't play for all or damn near all of last season.
Get your fakkin head out of your ass, that is three starters added to the mix, of course they will be better, especially if they round them out with a top 5 pg and a top 5 rebounder.
OP is a massive tolling douche ******cocksuckingclownshoe

top 4-5 seed is certainly possible. After Miami/Boston it is a dropoff
