Do you understand the effects of jetlag? One hour is nothing. If you go to your usual bedtime in London after coming from Barcelona you can sleep one more hour.

Jetlag is a problem if you leave by daytime, fly 8 hours and arrive at around the same time. So you either go to bed at daytime, which ****s up your biological rhythm for a few days or you stay awake until nighttime, which makes you tired for about 3 days.

It doesn't matter if the Aussie swimmers are in Manchester or not. You said there's jetzlag flying from Barcelona to London, and that's a false statement.

Aside from that, wherever they met, athletes have to train outside of London since they are not allowed to use the Olympic facilities before the games. Hence they use pool with Olympic dimensions(Barcelona, Manchester), since alot european facilities use short lanes, which are totally different for swimmers.
