Is there a way to find this out? Up to date, how many cumulative points do you think every NBA team that's ever existed scored?

I know, I know. Summer NBA talk is boring, but I thought it'd be mind boggling to find out the number.

So there's about 10,200,000 points as of right now, if my calculations are correct.

It says at 11:59, as opposed to 1 second remaining.

I'm saying that means it took 1 second for all that to happen (since it starts at 12:00)

I think you can get a delay of game/technical called at the start of the game if you jump to soon. And then maybe the free throw shooter missed the free throw so he got a tip in?

I know what you meant, and agree, but was wondering if for some reason they meant time elapsed since they didn't use the "x:xx remaining" format...

Probably not I guess. I'm sure the phrase "7:00 of the first quarter" is taken to mean 7 minutes remaining and not 7 minutes elapsed....even though it can be read that way.
