I'm not comparing Kobe to Jordan. Why would I include him?

I'm just laughing at people putting LeBron on Jordan's level and trying to use age comparisons to make it look remotely close. Slight problem being: LeBron at 27 has played 9 seasons (1-for-3 in the finals) while Jordan at 27 had only played 7 seasons (1-for-1 in the finals).

So you're saying that's one of the main reasons he's not as accomplished or better than MJ at that age? Even thou he had been exposed to NBA level basketball at an earlier age than MJ and thus develops at a faster rate....Unless you consider having hands-on experience in the NBA as a setback to development cause it's so hard for a young boy like Lebron. If Lebron needed that break he would have been a D-leaguer.

I find the excuses perplexing. You guys would have a greater argument if y'all went on the "supporting cast" bandwagon ohh wait...

so why are we taking lbj 18-21 age into account but we take MJ peak level age(in comparing their first 9 seasons) as well coming from college level basketball which is undoubtly superior to highschools.

The comparison is absurd first and foremost. Second, stans like you getting worked up about it is also absurd. The stats are what they are....it's what it's. Should that be something to get all b1tchy about because MJ supposibly has a 2-3 year go-ahead according to you guys is just plainly retarded. Look at 2011 and it's inexplicable as to why he choked. Bottomline is MJ was more accomplished at that time than Lebron period - from that standpoint or by any way shape or form that you compare Lebron to MJ. MJ is the better player period - GOAT. Now, if Lebron does the unthinkable and gets two- 3-peats, 6 FMVP's, 5 MVPS, 3 scoring titles least etc then you guys have an argument as to whom is the better player. Until then stop bitching about semantics it's ridiculous.

You will have a hard time selling that story considering the choke job in 11' (except Wilt who some call a choker; who has choked in that magnitude, Top 10 all-time?). Also teaming up with 2 franchise players, 1 actually been a FMVP himself is really an issue. I know you love him to death and thats ok. I am just not buying that for a few years...

Lebron's generation of "Domination" started post 2010 when Kobe drastically declined per injury+age in 2011. LBJ's a transitional guy while Durant is truly the generational guy 2010-foward.

Reasonable people have a problem with ranking Lebron in the Top 5 to 10, now cuz he won a title. Then it's the whole "oh...well....Lebron is better than so and so cuz he's going to win X amount of titles, MVP's and FMVP's" thing, like they're in some big rush. Jordan nor any of the greats earned their career accolades in a single season, but Lebron fans want to act like the rules are somehow changed for Lebron. Reasonable people would say wait and see what happens.

Oh...so you're(numbersix) pretty much admitting to being so illiterate, that you CAN'T read your own post? Not only are you admitting that, but it's clear you're OBVIOUSLY admitting to be such a pure ret**d, you also CAN'T navigate a webpage? I'd really stop posting now if I were you:lol
Yes. I'm admitting that I am that stupid. So stupid that I need you to show me where I said that, because I just can't figure it out for myself.

Please do a simple minded man a favor and show me I said you were a LeBron fan. I simply don't have the mental capacity to figure it out for myself.

I mean, you'd think it would be pretty easy to do.

Go ahead. Just expose me for the idiot I am. If I'm going to such lengths to deny saying something that I said in this very thread, just quote my post where I said that. You can make me look very foolish. Shouldn't take more than a few seconds........... Unless you've just been psychotically making it up this whole time.

LeBron ain't Jordan. He doesn't possess those basketball skills. His entire game is built solely on athletic abilities. His speed, strength, jumping ability make him a great player. Why do you think he isn't as great of a shooter, or doesn't have as good of foot work? Doesn't have the finesse, skill, and technique. Wait until LeBron reaches his late 20s/30s and looses his athleticism. He'll still be good player of course but no where what he is now. Kind of reminds me of Vince Carter how he was amazing when he had athleticism and when he got older he isn't what he used to be.

It's real easy actually. All I have to do, is let the morons post their crap and tie themselves up in their own hilarious stupidity. Prime example; the moron knows exactly what he said and where he said it. But he thinks he can trick me into pulling up his own post, by pretending he doesn't remember what he said. I already know that, so therefore, I'm not going to do a damn thing. He wants to act like a ret**d, fine by me. All I have to do is sit back, and enjoy watching the idiot insist on embarrassing himself.

The real funny part comes when they turn right around and get mad at you, cuz they insisted on making themselves look stupid. Pretty much admitting to you getting in their head, and not the other way around, like they love to try and spin it. Proven recipe for idiotic self ownage:hammerhead:

Being the best player and the greatest player are two different things. Greatest includes all the accolades you bring to the table, longevity being great, and numbers. Off this criteria, Kobe is the man post MJ or in the past 14 years. At this point, Kobe has regressed enough to where Bron is the best player on earth. But Bron still has to accumulate so more accolades to get to Kobe's level. If u feel Bron is the BEST PLAYER of the generation, he has a case. But GREATEST WISE, he's still gotta get past Kobe, Shaq, and Duncan. Bron's greatest case is more built of his solo accolades instead of his team accolades. Kobe, Shaq, and Duncan had team and solo accolades in spades. If Boston would have won couple more rings during that big three era(which they had a great shot to do if it wasn't for injuries or Ainge making dumb trades) , KG would have a great case to be a top ten player of all time. And KG would be ranked over Bron as well if it weren't for that. But as of now, I got Bron in top ten GOAT at number 10.

LeBron has been playing since 03 so to a lot of younger cats I would agree with this statement. I've been watching the NBA since the magic bird era so I'm biased to my generation. But i will agree LeBron is something special...

At 27 the fact that he has all these accomplishments is ****ing crazy.

Jordan at 27 couldn't hold a candle to these accolades.
Jordan at 27 was competing against Bird and Magic or else he'd have more MVPs, call me when LBJ surpasses that kind of competition.:oldlol:

Or just check the yearly stats they put up to age 27, MJ has better stats...nice try though.

You stupid tw.at, when MJ entered the league until he was 27, he was competing vs prime Bird and prime Magic, that's why I wrote he would have more MVPs (as in more than one more) some of those seasons before 1990, MJ was putting up insane stats. I didn't write that at that lone season MJ turned 27 his competition were those players, learn to read, then talk smak.

what do you mean by this generation ?

If you mean the 2000's era that is a 3 way between Shaq, Duncan and Kobe.

2010-onward is LeBron's league with Durant close by.
