now the knockout stage is here, the venue changes from a 12000 seating capacity to a 20,000 capacity at the O2 arena. one of the world's best arenas to watch sports or music. its an amazing arena. Expect the crowds to be a lot louder and more vocal into the knockout stage games. :pimp:

Lithuania was part of soviet union, but Lithuania was independant country for a long time before that, in middle ages even being one of the biggest countries in europe, we regained independancy in 1992 (since that year its first time when our team didnt made top4 in the olympics) . Soviet union teams pretty much always had core of Lithuanian players, for example 4 most important players in 1988 soviet team was lithuanians, despite Lithuania having under 3million population.
