View Full Version : LeBron Makes more $ Than Kobe

NumberSix

Apparently, last year LeBron made $53 million. Kobe made $52 million.

Considering that Kobe's salary is almost double LeBron's, that means LeBron makes WAY more off the court than Kobe does.

I think a factor would be Kobe's age. 'Newer' NBA fan are on the lebron wagon also, which makes it enticing for marketing opportunities.

What were you expecting. He is by far the best player of course he is supposed to make that kind of money. If he wins another two rings and couple MVPs as well expect him to earn more than 100mil a year.

And it starts with da letter 'B'
An' makes a girl like that think she
Better than me

See,
Some get mad
And some just bear it
But yo,
If the shoe fits,
Wear it

It makes 'em go deaf in the ear
That's why
When you say 'hi'
She won't say 'hi'
Are you the kind that thinks you're too damn fly?
Bitch eat shit and die

sigh, another typical lebron stan is insecure about kobe. It was only a couple hundred thousand more. Lebron has more endorsements than kobe.

the fact that you made this thread shows how personally you're invested into how much money they get. all you do is post on ISH about how Lebron>>Kobe. ok we get it ho.

I'm not invested. Just genuinely surprised. I just naturally assumed Kobe made more than LeBron.

Those 2 happen to be the top 2 earners in the NBA. I didn't have a choice in the matter. If it was Dwyane Wade or Dwight Howard that made more, I'd make the exact same thread.

P.S.... I post about Shaq>Kobe WAY more than I do LeBron>Kobe.

Kobe is in his 17th season while James is in his prime, and it's still close. Lmao
People waited so long to finally say James > Bryant, but guess what using this logic KObe >> Jordan after the humiliation in Washington. LOL

Doesn't Lebron pay less income tax as well since he plays for Miami?

These guys play in several states, so they have to file tax returns for those states as well

It's possible that he's saving money by playing a majority of games in Miami, if their tax laws are favorable for his state tax returns

It has nothing to do with that lol. Income tax is based on where you live not where you work.

In the NBA it is based on where you play the games. The differences are not that big though. It likely means less than 2 million dollars difference overall (for LeBron).

The property tax makes up for the income tax on his 80000000000000000 dollar house though i'm sure.
