How's that possible?
39 - 15 (3 pts) - 6 (FTs) = 18 points
How does 4 FGs make up 18 points?

Straight dominated GB. Coach took him off with 6 minutes left, he should have let him get the 40.

Was actually a great game, massive turnaround for Australia.

Sure glad the Blazers basically let this guy go, where Mills has actually played for the Spurs....because we of course were doing so well with the combination of Raymond "of course I want fckng fries with that" Felton and a rookie point guard....

Yeah Ingles has really impressed me. I haven't seen him play for about 3 years since he left the Australian basketball league where he was good but nothing special. He has really developed his game and I thought he outplayed Luol Deng yesterday.

No he can't. He's one trick pony. Good player off the bench though.

and what trick is that?? hes a versatile scorer. good finisher at the rim. can take his man off the dribble. can drain 3's as good as anyone. hes got a good amount of 20+ games in the olympics and showed hes only getting better.

Melo had his 37 points in 14 minutes.

You answered your own question, he's a scorer and little else. Beside games are not only played in offensive end. That's why he is better suited on the bench.

melo also chucked all his shots. which RARELY go in when he goes into full out chuck mode. people expect melo to do this every game? they expect him to do it in the nba?? hes only done it once in the nba game 4 last year. He was in full out chuck mode in that game to and was taking HORRIBLE shots. They just happened to fall. They wont next time

yah because pop would of picked him up if he was a horrible defender right???

hes actually a good on the ball defender and got in a good position for steals for the spurs last year. so whats his 1 trick??? offense cant be your whole trick there is all sorts of tricks in offense. "hes only good on offense"

whats next?? kids need to watch some games

Where was 3rd string point guard when team was going down in flames in the Wcf? :lol

worst officiated game since 2002 agreed by 90% of basketball fans and players. okc has no business winning that series then durant and harden get every call in the book. then what happens when durant gets to the finals?? NO MORE CALLS. love the nba

So based on your logic, Pop picked up Matt Bonner because he's shutting down people.

And Smush Parker is a good on ball defender because hes can steal the ball.

The thing is you need all specialist to matchup with any team.

matt bonner is a good defender to hes just limited in his abilities. watch some games man. patty plays good d hes very fast and when he gets beat off the dribble he makes ground up very quickly

no such thing as a 1 trick pony pg.

UPDATE:

Australia vs Russia

Patrick Mills (5) of Australia celebrates after making the game-winning three point shot against Russia in the final seconds of s Basketball preliminary round match.

Russia had their first lead since midway through the fourth quarter when Vitaliy Fridzon went to the line and hit two free throws to make it 80-79 with 4.1 seconds left.

But Australia coach Brett Brown drew up one final play and they made it pay as Joe Ingles fed Mills at the top of the key and he drained the three to win it.

'I had the mindset that if I was open I had to shoot, time was running down and I was glad that it went in,' Mills said.

That ah boy, at it again, 3/10 from 3 but clutch is clutch

Great game by Patty, he looks so much better playing off the ball. Joe Ingles is really impressing me as well. He played an exceptional game against AK47.

I've never gone out of my way to watch melo, but I have seen him against boston countless times, and you are completely wrong if you think he's only ever done it once.

Lol you really think that olympic performance and game 4 vs miami were the only times Melo has had a high scoring and efficient game? How long have ou been watching basketball dude? Seriously...

In 2009 i believe he averaged 29ppg so answer this question (since i cantell your strong points are both logic and basi math); do you really think he got that average from scoring 29 points every single game? Noone scores 30 points for each of the 82 games in a season so therefore its safe to assume that there are outliers, some extremely high scoring games, and some which are substandard which eventually average out to that 29ppg. Just taking that single season alone into account disproves your shitty opinion

13 year old kids shouldnt be allowed to type on any message board...ever
