No. I lived the neighborhood Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati until I was 19. I looked up the statistics recently and I believe it was 75% black, at the time I lived there it was probably 80%+ black. Not a great place to live if you're white and most people living there has racial tensions with the city police force.

Anyway I moved to Wisconsin when I was 19 for a girl. Stupid idea nonetheless at the time, but I'm glad I did it. I've been in Wisconsin ever since, got married, had a daughter, still follow the Reds and Cavaliers though.

Actually it didn't. Teh girl I moved up here for left me within months for a guy in the Navy. She now moves like every 12-18 months from place to place with him apparently. I was really close to moving back home, but I ended up sticking it out up here in Wisconsin by myself with no family or close friends. It worked out though. The wife I met later.

It was. I was pretty depressed for about a year. All I would do was go to work, come home, and online game and sleep. I'd take like 2 showers a week. I'd stink that sweaty under-arm stink. Horrible. I was a sad human being.

You took what i posted out of context. You didn't quote my full post either, I said because of the racial tension with the police force in the city.

There was police officers that were killing young black males that were usually unarmed. The one in 2001 that set off the riots there was because a cop killed a unarmed kid that was running. The cop got fired from the city force, but he was able to get a job at another department.

Plus I lived it my friend. when we moved into metropolitan housing and my mother was on welfare we got called every white racial name in the books by black kids, adults and teenagers. I don't know how many times my mother got called a white bitch simply because she was white. After a couple years people pretty much left us alone because we kept to ourselves and didn't bother people.

It's not easy living in an enviorment like that.
